Denise Richards posed for photos after appearing on Good Morning America and The View in New York City on Tuesday, where she's promoting her new ABC Family show Twisted.

Denise stars as Karen Desai, the mother of a 16-year-old boy who was accused of murdering his aunt a few years earlier. While Denise is excited about her new show, she won't be screening it for her kids anytime soon.

"Quite frankly, when I first heard that this script was for ABC Family, and then I started to read it, it was nothing what I expected them to do," she told reporters. "Honestly, it is so different and very edgy ... something little sexier. I think it's great, but it is not for my children."

What's in a name? A lot if you ask Kanye West.

The controversial rapper told a huge crowd at an impromptu listening party for his upcoming album Yeezus the reason for the CD's controversial title. "West was my slave name," he told the audience. "Yeezus is my God name." It's certainly safe to say that Kim Kardashian's beau has a God complex.

Kanye also revealed that he will not release singles for this album in order to prevent his music from being displayed on YouTube next to "related artists" who aren't actually comparable to him. Who is on par? Daft Punk, Chief Keef, Justin Vernon, TNGHT, and Rick Rubin, among others, who collaborated on the album.

And if you're wondering if he cares about the backlash he's received for his blasphemous tracks (such as "I am a God"), he doesn't. "I had to learn about giving," he told attendees, which included Beyonce, Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, and Timbaland, at New York's Milk Studios. "This whole album is about giving, this whole process is about giving … no f**ks at all."

However, the humble artist did acknowledge that there are actually people in the world who are more talented than him. "If I'm standing next to someone, that means they're smarter than me," he said. "If I'm standing next to someone, that means they're better at something than I am."

Chris Brown is reportedly still under criminal investigation after allegedly assaulting Frank Ocean in January.

Although Frank didn't press charges against the singer, TMZ is reporting that the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office still has an active file on the incident.

The controversial artist is currently on probation after assaulting his now ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. The LADA is allegedly unsatisfied with his court-ordered community service and has accused the Grammy winner of doctoring documentation concerning the 180 hours of labor he completed. A judge decided at his court hearing yesterday that he will determine whether Chris violated his probation at a preliminary hearing on July 15, providing Chris amble time to resolve the issue with prosecutors.

Adding to his legal woes, the "Forever" singer is also now being investigated for an alleged hit-and-run. He was accused of giving false information to the driver of the Mercedes he rear-ended last month in Beverly Hills.

But don't feel too bad for Breezy because he's apparently unfazed by the drama. "I like being the person everyone hates. Makes life exciting," he tweeted yesterday against a picture of his graffitied living room.

In contrast, Frank wrote about forgiveness on his blog in February following the alleged brawl with Chris.

"As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer. I'm an artist and a modern person. I'll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace."

Joel Madden has reportedly been kicked out of Sydney's Darling Hotel, where he has been staying while he films The Voice Australia, after cleaners discovered a small amount of marijuana in his room on Sunday. Yikes!

The 34-year-old rocker had just 5 grams of the drug in his possession, so charges weren't brought against him, but he was still asked to leave the premises by hotel management.

"He was not afforded any special treatment and moved out," a hotel official confirmed.

The Good Charlottte front man confronted the rumors head-on by posting the below statement to his Tumblr account.

Selena Gomez looked rather down in the dumps when X17 photographers caught her going to lunch at Kabuki in Studio City with a friend on Monday. Maybe she's sad about being split up from Justin Bieber at the moment? We're not sure what's going on with the young lovers, but he did get a tattoo of Selena on his arm, so you'd think that would count for something!

Then again, the two arrived separately at the Billboard Music Awards in May, and even though Justin doesn't have another tour date until later this month, he hasn't spent any of his time off with Selena. Guess he won't be coming and getting it anytime soon...
