Brad Pitt has long been regarded as the quintessential Hollywood movie star, but the actor now considers himself a family man, first and foremost.

In an interview with Esquire, Brad told the magazine that he's never been happier in life, thanks to his family.

I have very few friends. I have a handful of close friends and I have my family and I haven't known life to be any happier. I'm making things. I just haven't known life to be any happier.

Brad gave the interview in early April, one month after his fiance Angelina Jolie began undergoing the three-month long series of surgeries that would end a month later with her preventative double mastectomy. The World War Z star's words ring truer now in the wake of Angie's big reveal.

He also discussed his insurmountable love for his six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne. The budding photographer said his kids' raucous noise is music to his ears.

I always thought that if I wanted to do a family, I wanted to do it big. I wanted there to be chaos in the house … there's constant chatter in our house, whether it's giggling or screaming or crying or banging. I love it. I love it. I love it. I hate it when they’re gone. I hate it. Maybe it's nice to be in a hotel room for a day -- 'Oh, nice, I can finally read a paper.' But then, by the next day, I miss that cacophony, all that life.

Although he's now on the straight and narrow, Brad said he thought his recreational drug use had damaged him for good 10 years ago.

For a long time I thought I did too much damage -- drug damage. I was a bit of a drifter. A guy who felt he grew up in something of a vacuum and wanted to see things, wanted to be inspired. I followed that other thing. I spent years f***ing off. But then I got burnt out and felt that I was wasting my opportunity. It was a conscious change. This was about a decade ago. It was an epiphany -- a decision not to squander my opportunities. It was a feeling of get up. Because otherwise, what's the point?

More legal woes for Lilo!

Lindsay Lohan has been hit with a countersuit for $5 million by D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries, the manufacturer behind her 6126 clothing line, reports TMZ. Lindsay filed a lawsuit against the company claiming they failed to pay her for a massive licensing fee, and she's seeking $1.1 million in damages.

However, now D.N.A.M. is firing back at the 26-year-old starlet claiming she's the reason their business deal fell apart. According to legal docs, D.N.A.M. says they did everything they could to sell the 6126 brand to high-end third party retailers, but by mid-2010, no one wanted to buy the apparel because of Lindsay's troubles with rehab and the law.

D.N.A.M. added that Lindsay's "drug-addled image" destroyed 6126's reputation, and rendered the clothing line completely unsellable. D.N.A.M. is also suing for breach of contract and fraud, demanding at least $5 million in damages.

Lindsay's attorney (well, one of them!) Perry C. Wander said in a statement, "The license agreement does not have a morals clause that allows the company to suspend payment for any behavior. The contract is not in LL name thus she cannot be held personally liable. The cross claim is therefore frivolous and totally without merit and will be defended vigorously."

Earlier this month Paris told Wendy Williams that she was hoping to settle down and start a family with Viiperi. "I think that's the meaning of life to have children and have a family one day," she said. "I am so in love. I feel so lucky to have met him. He's one of the kindest, most loyal men I've ever met in my entire life, and he treats me like a princess."

January Jones chats with the New York Times about the latest season of Mad Men, and when the reporter tries to get her to open up about her personal life, she absolutely refuses.

When asked who fathered her 20-month-old son Xander, Jones snipes, "That's my son's business. It's not the public's business." The 35-year-old actress continued, "Jack Nicholson once told me: 'You should never give your personal life away, otherwise people will pick you apart. They’ll never believe in your character.'"

“Women should have lots of secrets,” she added. “It’s our right to have secrets. Otherwise, what would we write in our memoirs?”

On Sunday X17 photographers snapped these exclusive photos of Rob Pattinson leaving Kristen Stewart's Los Feliz pad, and not only was his red Chevy pick-up truck filled with clothes, bikes and suitcases, but he took the couple's dog too!

Rob and K. Stew got in a huge fight on his 27th birthday last weekend, and after that the two called it quits yet again. We're still not sure if it's for good, but a source tells Us Weekly that the drama started after Rob "blew off a birthday party planned in his honor by Stewart." The insider added, "All this stuff came up ... about the cheating, about how selfish she always is, about how moody she always is."

Rob stayed at K. Stew's home for less than an hour, and he then drove over to his pad, which is only a mile and a half away. We're wondering if he regrets buying a home so close to his adulterous lady vamp...

Don't go messing with the K sisters!

Khloe Kardashian recently penned a sweet letter in defense of her sister Kim, and the reality star decided to share her younger sibling's heartfelt message on her own blog.

Lamar Odom's wifey blasts her pregnant sister's critics for the jabs they've taken at her weight and body shape, comparing the bullying to the same she endured after gaining a few pounds.

"I find it disturbing that society loves to critique a woman's shape. That is low in and of itself, but I cannot tolerate one more vicious attack on my sister!" Khloe writes.

She even calls Kimmy K's haters "true scum" in a portion of the note!

"Kim, you may be one of the strongest people I know. I have no idea how you endure such abuse but still smile and shine everyday. I commend you for not putting your head down and going into hiding like so many would," she adds.

The former X-Factor host finishes the letter with some advice for her famous sis!

"You are perfect the way you are! This is your life! Your body! Your baby! I wish you could see how you have this pregnant glow and you sparkle everyday. Your belly is fantastic... You are growing a miracle inside of you! And I will do anything in my power to protect you!" she gushes.

The sentiments were not lost on the brunette bombshell, either! "I have the best sister in the world. I love you very much, Khloe!" she wrote on her website.

No one said being a pop star was easy!

Britney Spears appeared exhausted while exiting a dance studio in Thousand Oaks today. Despite the tired look on her face, the singer still seemed to be in high spirits as she walked to her car.

The songstress sported a completely different expression while posing for a SHAPE magazine cover spread in which she gleefully bent her body into yoga positions.

The former X Factor judge is most likely practicing routines for her new Las Vegas show that's slated to open this fall.

"The [Vegas] performances won't be simple -- they'll be a massive party from start to finish," she told SHAPE. "And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed."

Furthermore, Brit-Brit will be collaborating with will.i.am for her eighth album. The duo, who already teamed up for the songs "Big Fat Bass" and "Scream & Shout," have been meeting and clocking studio hours for the past three months. They're currently in the process of developing a more personal relationship with one another in preparation for the album:

"Before we even start we've had these juicy sessions, where we've been bonding, building the trust and comfort. I've never worked like this before -- not even the Peas," will.i.am told Billboard.

They duo will begin recording music this week ... and we can't wait to hear a new track!
