Taylor Swift has long stayed silent on political matters, but she felt it was necessary to speak her opinion ahead of the upcoming midterm elections.

"I’m writing this post about the upcoming midterm elections on November 6th, in which I’ll be voting in the state of Tennessee. In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now. I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country. I believe in the fight for LGBTQ rights, and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender is WRONG. I believe that the systemic racism we still see in this country towards people of color is terrifying, sickening and prevalent. I cannot vote for someone who will not be willing to fight for dignity for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, gender or who they love," she wrote on Instagram.

"Running for Senate in the state of Tennessee is a woman named Marsha Blackburn. As much as I have in the past and would like to continue voting for women in office, I cannot support Marsha Blackburn. Her voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me. She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry. These are not MY Tennessee values," she continued.

"I will be voting for Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives. Please, please educate yourself on the candidates running in your state and vote based on who most closely represents your values. For a lot of us, we may never find a candidate or party with whom we agree 100% on every issue, but we have to vote anyway. So many intelligent, thoughtful, self-possessed people have turned 18 in the past two years and now have the right and privilege to make their vote count. But first you need to register, which is quick and easy to do. October 9th is the LAST DAY to register to vote in the state of TN. Go to vote.org and you can find all the info. Their romance is really heating up!

Just days after completing rehab and finalizing his divorce, Ben Affleck took new girlfriend Shauna Sexton on a weekend getaway to Montana. The two spent some time in nature and went fishing in the river, and the Playboy model couldn't help but Instagram a couple snapshots from their trip.

The pinup shared one of the Oscar winner looking out the window as they drove, and she clearly wanted everyone to know they were together. We wonder how Jen Garner feels about this?

There are all types of crazy rumors going around about their relationship these days! The latest? The A-list star is preparing to pop the question!

“Ben’s head over heels in love with Shauna and sees her as definite marriage material. He’s anxious to hurry up and get his divorce finalized so he can marry her and they can start the rest of their lives together," a source told The National Enquirer.

"It's pretty shocking since he's only been dating this girl for a couple months and isn't in the right frame of mind to be settling down with anyone. But Ben's starry eyed about Shauna and insists there's nothing wrong with acting on his instincts. He wants her to be the next Mrs. Affleck as soon as possible. We really didn't think this would last more than a week, but apparently we were wrong. We caught them arriving home at his Pacific Palisades mansion last night, and it seems like they're living together now, too!

Things are on the up and up!

Ben Affleck looked every inch the movie star he is when we caught him out this morning, and he's got a lot to be happy about these days. Not only is he clean and sober after completing a 40 day rehab program, but he also just finalized his years long divorce from Jennifer Garner.

The former couple met at the actress' Pacific Palisades home on Thursday with lawyers and a private judge to sign off on their split, and it means they're both officially single again! That's good news for the Oscar winner, as he recently struck up his new romance with Playboy model Shauna Sexton.

The Batman star broke his silence about getting help for his alcohol addiction yesterday, and it sounds like he's committed to his recovery.

"The support I have received from my family, colleagues and fans means more to me than I can say. It’s given me the strength and support to speak about my illness with others. Battling any addiction is a lifelong and difficult struggle. Because of that, one is never really in or out of treatment. It is a full-time commitment. I am fighting for myself and my family. … I hope down the road I can offer an example to others who are struggling," he wrote in a statement on Instagram.

This is the beginning of his comeback!
