Talk about every girl's worst nightmare!

Jennifer Lawrence won big last night at the Oscars, taking home the Best Actress statue for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, but her embarrassing fall almost overshadowed her victory!

After her name was called as the winner, the stunned 23-year-old star made her way to the stage in a gorgeous Dior gown, but as she was walking up the stairs she took a tumble that brought her to her knees!

The blonde beauty immediately acknowledged the blunder as the crowd stood to clap for her.

"You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell - it's really embarrassing. This is nuts!" she joked before thanking her fans and colleagues.

Leave it up to J-Law to handle the situation with grace and humor!

EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS - Kristen Stewart Hangs Out With Rob Pattinson's Best Friends Before Injuring Her Foot

Posted on Mon Feb 25th, 2013 7:59am PDT       By X17 Staff

twilight twilight twilight

On Friday Kristen Stewart was snapped out with boyfriend Rob Pattinson's friends for the second night that week, and we're guessing her mysterious foot injury might have occurred shortly after these photos were snapped! (After all, on Saturday it was reported that K. Stew was on crutches at the Oscars rehearsal.)

Kristen partied with Rob's pals, including Marcus Foster and his bandmate Jack Standen, and she was seen running around on the sidewalk, laughing and riding around in another man's arms. Hmm, if it's true that she's having problems in her relationship, this isn't the best way to show Rob how serious she is about staying together!

On Sunday Kristen ran into Anne Hathaway backstage at the Oscars, and when the Best Supporting Actress winner spotted her crutches, the Twilight star said, "I know, I'm an idiot ... But congratulations!"

"Please tell me you're going on stage with those [crutches]," Hathaway said. "Nope," Stewart replied. "I'm gonna hobble." Hathaway joked, "Well, break a leg ... Oops!" Stewart then revealed that she cut her foot recently after stepping on glass. "I just hope [the wound] doesn't open up right now."

Stewart's manicurist added to Us Mag, "She had sliced her foot and everyone was worrying about would she wear heels or flats or one heel, crutches or no crutches. She tried so many options, she was really a trouper."

Argo Wins Big At The 2013 Academy Awards, Ben Affleck Gives Emotional Acceptance Speech

The 85th Academy Awards were held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday in Hollywood, and while host Seth MacFarlane wasn't nearly as awful as James Franco back in 2011, the Family Guy creator's jokes weren't anywhere near as good as his many musical numbers.

The telecast ran nearly 30 minutes over, but from Jennifer Lawrence tripping on her way to the podium to Joaquin Phoenix getting caught on camera being a bad sport, there was plenty of entertainment!

Of course, the big moment of the evening was when Ben Affleck finally took the stage with George Clooney and Grant Heslov to accept the Best Picture Oscar for Argo. Ben may have gotten snubbed after he failed to receive a Best Director nomination, but it looks like the Academy may have felt a bit remorseful over that decision, as the film also won Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Editing. Check out his speech below ... it was truly the highlight of the show for us!

Life of Pi took home four awards, including Best Director (Ang Lee), Cinematography, Best Original Score and Best Visual Effects. Despite being nominated in 12 categories, Lincoln only won two awards, for Daniel Day-Lewis as Best Actor in a Leading Role and for Achievement in Production Design.

As expected, Anne Hathaway won the Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for playing Fantine in Les Miserables and Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress in a Lead Role for Silver Linings Playbook, and Django Unchained picked up awards for Best Original Screenplay (Quentin Tarantino) and Best Supporting Actor (Christoph Waltz).

Anne Hathaway looked beautiful in a pink satin Prada dress on the red carpet at the 85th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, but it seems as though she's making a joke here about the darted seams on her dress. Or are those actually her nipples? We honestly can't tell, but we do love the color of it!

All joking aside, we're happy she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Fantine in Les Miserables, because her performance was so moving we cried in the theater. See, chopping off her hair and losing 30 pounds was SO worth it!

“I’m just overjoyed, it’s a blessing. It’s as simple as that,” Anne told reporters before her big win. “I guess it really all begins with getting married. I found my soul mate and we committed ourselves to each other and it’s just the best thing ever. All of this has just been the cherry on top of a wonderful, wonderful dish of vegan ice cream.” Of course...

Posted on Sun Feb 24th, 2013 7:18pm PDT       By X17 Staff

It's about time Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner made a red carpet appearance together!

The duo posed for photos at the 85th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday evening, and Jen showed off her slimmed down bod in a purple Gucci dress, while Ben looked quite dapper in head to toe Gucci as well.

So what were their red carpet preps like? "It was mayhem at our house. Our daughter was in a spelling bee at the local rec center," Jen told E! News. "I was in hair and makeup so I couldn't take her, so Ben took her in the middle of everything. She won! Our family has already had a great day, so congratulations to our sweetie. And then she had a basketball game. Life goes on. No one really cares! It's just all about trying to keep the dogs and kids from getting stuff on the stuff."

"I was more nervous at the spelling bee than I am now, I don't know what that says," Ben added. "There was a lot of words. Let me tell you something, you and me might have been in trouble. We belong in the stands."

When Ben was not nominated for his work directing Argo, he did receive a nod as a producer, as the film is nominated for Best Picture. Think it'll win?

Jennifer Aniston and fiance Justin Theroux posed for photos on the red carpet at the 85th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, and she went big and bold with this prom-inspired red Valentino gown. I mean, when was the last time you saw her wearing anything but basic black or neutral tones?

"It feels very princessy. I feel like this is very King and I," Jen told Lara Spencer on the red carpet. When asked who designed her jewelry, Jen added it was her fiance. Aww!

"Today was really nice, I have to say," she said of getting ready. "We had a really fun morning and a great breakfast."

Jennifer Lawrence Looks Amazing On The Red Carpet But Says She's "Freaking Starving"

Posted on Sun Feb 24th, 2013 6:25pm PDT       By X17 Staff

Jennifer Lawrence strikes a pose at the 2013 Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, and the 22-year-old Best Actress nominee looked stunning in a Dior Haute Couture dress.

But was it all worth it? “Today was stressful and I had no time to eat. I’m starving,” she admitted to reporters. “I’m freaking starving,” she said, before pointing to the McDonald’s on Hollywood Boulevard. She then jokingly asked her publicist to grab her burger. “I’d eat in a bathroom at this point and someone would catch me sitting on the toilet and eating, and I’d be like, ‘What?’”

While she gets nervous and chatty and tends to babble a bit, she also revealed that she's terrified to go up onstage if she wins for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. "My biggest fear is speaking publicly. I’m so nervous about presenting, I’m trying not to think about what I would say if I won."

Wait, wasn't her Golden Globes speech one of the best we've ever heard? She certainly does a good job hiding that ... then again, she is a two-time Oscar nominee!
