Kris Humphries' lawyer, Marshall Waller, has dropped the basketball star as a client right before the NBA player's joint court appearance with ex Kim Kardashian.

Court papers say Waller bailed due to "irremediable breakdown of the attorney-client relationship."

Kardashian, who is repped by Laura Wasser, filed for divorce on October 31, 2011 ... only 72 days after tying the knot.

Humphries, 27, responded by claiming he wanted an annulment based on fraud and asked Kim to pay for his attorney's fees.

Kim's attorney is expected to ask the judge for a March trial date.

This could get nasty!

Tom Cruise is suing Life & Style magazine for libel to the tune of $50 million after they published a story claiming the actor had "abandoned" his daughter after his split from wife Katie Holmes.

As part of their case, defense for the publishing company have demanded details about the 6-year-old's "mental and emotional state", as well as exact details regarding Cruise's contact and visitation schedule during that time period.

They didn't stop there, either!

L&S also requested to know "the role that Cruise's membership in the Church of Scientology played in his decisions regarding his visitation and communication with Suri," in the legal documents.

Cruise's camp is fighting back with their own demands, though! Lawyers have asked for information on "Bauer's policies and practices with respect to obtaining information, paying for sources, verifying the credibility of sources with whom the writers and editors haven't spoken."

If the case makes it to trial, it will be heard in court next year at the earliest.

Let's hope both sides have nothing to hide!

Could there be trouble in paradise for Rihanna and beau Chris Brown?

The gorgeous songstress arrived to Blok Nightclub on Valentine's Day without the R&B singer. Reports claim that these two are over.

Just a day ago, we caught both Rihanna and Chris arriving to Playhouse Nightclub ... but separately. A source from inside the club tells DailyMail:

"Rihanna refused to sit with or even near Chris – and when Chris noticed she was there, he made a huge show of rubbing his presence in her face. He promptly ordered three more bottles of ace of spades which came out with in a procession of sparklers and scantily clad cocktail waitresses, causing a spectacle, which he clearly wanted Rihanna to see."

After ignoring each other the whole night, Chris left Playhouse at 2:15am ... and RiRi stayed partying until 3:00am.

The only photo Rihanna posted yesterday on Valentine's Day was the below image of what appears to be a marijuana plant and the following: "Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy."

Seems like their relationship may be up in smoke.

A newly single Britney Spears decided to spend her Valentine's Day with her mom as they did some shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond in Calabasas on Thursday.

The 31-year-old singer has seemed content flying solo since her split with Jason Trawick but it's given her more time to spend with her family as well as work on her music. Guess she's getting the love she deserves!

On Thursday, Miley Cyrus showed some Valetine's love to her fans while she was heading back to her hotel in NYC.

The 20-year-old entertainer, who was sans her fiance, has been seeing all the new styles at the many shows during NYC Fashion Week as well as working on her new music.

“I promise the music is coming SOON!" her mom Tish tweeted. "Every time we think shes done with the album, AMAZING music just keeps coming!”

Looks like her fans will have something to look forward to!

On Thursday, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West did what any normal couple would do on Valentine's Day... go for a ride around town in a Lamborghini!

The happy couple have been back in L.A. from their adventures around the globe and have probably planned something extravagant to celebrate the day dedicated to love. With a ride like that, it's definitely in the cards!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have conquered Hollywood with their numerous hit movies, but the A-list power couple are looking to add wine making to their list.

The two have recently collaborated with French winemaker Marc Perrin to produce Miraval wine, named after their french estate, beginning with their 2012 harvest.

Pitt and Jolie first rented the Chateau Miraval in Correns, southern France in 2008 and have since purchased the property, which holds 148 acres of vines.

The Miraval wine will be on the market in March while their white wines will begin arriving by the end of this summer.

We were a little disappointed Miley didn't rock another red hot outfit on Valentine's Day, but she does look pretty sexy in this maxi dress! (And that's saying a lot, because we really wouldn't like this striped frock on anyone else!)

Yesterday Miley tweeted the below photo after attending Rachel Zoe's fashion show and wrote, "Love to the fabulushhhh @RachelZoe thank you for having me today! Can't wait to rock everything <3."
