Jeremy Renner let a big secret slip on the smoking patio at the Golden Globes... he's going to be a dad!

During a conversation with pal Eva Longoria, the 42-year-old actor was saying, "I'm going to fly in when her water breaks," to which the Desperate Housewives actress responded, "I'm so blown away," according to Us Weekly.

The Hurt Locker star's ex-girlfriend is pregnant and due to give birth next month. Although the pair "used to date but it wasn't serious," the unknown girl is currently living in Renner's L.A. home.

This will be the first child for Renner.

Abi Morgan, who wrote The Iron Lady and Shame, will handle the adaptation, "a modern-day retelling of the iconic play set in mid-20th century Italy." Can't wait to hear more!

Funny, this is the same place he went the day after his Thanksgiving fist fight with Halle's ex, Gabriel Aubry, and he's practically wearing the same outfit that he did yesterday. I guess he's a creature of habit!

Fresh from her Golden Globe win on Sunday night for Best Actress for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, Jennifer Lawrence made an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman on Tuesday evening.

While Jen is happily making the rounds to chat about awards season and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, she recently revealed to Entertainment Weekly that she won't be making an appearance on Inside the Actors Studio.

“Do you know how much that guy would hate me?" she exclaimed. "Tell me about your method?’ There is no method! I never know my lines! He would be horrified." So what about the rumors that she's dating co-star Bradley Cooper? “Oh yes, we’re in a relationship,” she joked. “Apparently things are heating up.” I guess that comment is why Bradley felt the need to make a statement about it!

Elton John and husband David Furnish have welcomed a second son, Hello! Magazine reports.

Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John was born via surrogate in Los Angeles at 6:40pm on Friday January 11, 2013, and he weighed in at 8 pounds, 4 ounces.

The proud parents said in a statement to the mag, "Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable. The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way. It is difficult to fully express how we are feeling at this time; we are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement."

John and Furnish got married in 2005 after 12 years together, and they welcomed son Zachary in December 2010. Just a few months ago, the 65-year-old singer opened up about expanding their family. "I think it’s difficult to be an only child, and to be an only child of someone famous," he said. "I want Zachary to have a sibling."
