Last night Reese Witherspoon dined with Seth MacFarlane at the Montage's Scarpetta restaurant in Beverly Hills, and obviously this was a work-related meeting: Reese is married with kids and Seth was last rumored to be dating some hot, young starlet from Game of Thrones, but what exactly are these two planning?!

Between Reese's acting chops and Seth's success with TV and movies (c'mon, we loved Ted!), we think these two could come up with some pretty good project ideas...

It was a family outing for Naomi Watts and company as her and hubby Liev Schreiber hit the streets of NYC to help celebrate their son Sam's fourth birthday on Thursday. Who likes cake?

The 43-year-old actress had other reasons to celebrate as she received her first Golden Globe Awards nomination for her role in the film The Impossible on the same day, letting out a little yelp as she got the good news from her agent.

While Naomi could have let her news overshadow her son's big day, it seems as if she opted for a later date to enjoy her accomplishment. What a great mom!

The Cougar Town star embraced her inner nerd last night when she donned a pair of black thick-rimmed glasses with matching scarf and skinny jeans while with friends Kate Mara, Max Minghella and David Fincher at Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills.

The 48-year-old actress has been busy filming her hit show and according to the murmurs, she'll be getting ready for another role as Jennifer Aniston's bridesmaid for her wedding. Hopefully her and Chelsea Handler will get along for their friend's sake!

Lindsay Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Holley, lunched at Tavern in Brentwood on Thursday, and she didn't give away too much information about her high profile client, but based on what she did say, she doesn't seem too concerned about Lilo going back to jail!

When asked if the 26-year-old actress was prepared to go to the slammer for her probation violation, Shawn replied, "Why would you think she'd go to jail?" Er, maybe because her probation has been revoked and she allegedly lied to police after crashing her Porsche this summer? And let's not even get into the cat fight Lindsay got into with a patron at the New York City club Avenue!

And get this -- when our videographer brought up Lindsay's past legal woes, including her jewelry store theft, Shawn even laughed about it! But she's right, it wasn't a robbery. But Lindsay was breaking the law...

Yesterday Paris Hilton was accompanied by beau River Viiperi when she went to the hair salon in Beverly Hills, and after getting her tresses tended to, the heiress tweeted, "Long day of meetings. Now family time. On way with @RiverViiperi to my dad's holiday party for his realestate company @HiltonHyland."

The bash was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and we're dying to see what P wore! Maybe she'll post some Twitpics later?

Justin Bieber makes an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today, and the pop star shows off his new tattoo, chats about meeting the Prime Minster of Canada and he even reveals his feelings on being snubbed by the Grammys this year.

When Ellen asked his thoughts on not receiving a single Grammy nom this year, Justin said, "[It was] a big bummer, I would say that it’s definitely, I was looking forward to but I know it will happen one day ... I’m so young. I’m only 18. I’m just blessed to be able to do what I love everyday. And the AMAs was a lot of fun for me..."

On the controversy surrounding his outfit when he met the Canadian Prime Minster, Bieber defends his decision to wear overalls, saying, "I was at my concert. That was at…. I was doing like a meet and greet. Meeting all my fans and stuff and he came to venue where I was performing ... I know it wasn’t fair but that was really my event….I really promise if I would of went to his environment. I would have been all done up."

Must have been chilly in Spain last night!

Tom Cruise and Rosamund Pike struck a pose at the Madrid premiere of their new action film, Jack Reacher, and the 50-year-old actor looked more like a soccer dad than a movie star. While Tom's fashion choice was a bit debatable, we find it interesting that his 5'9" co-star was wearing a pair of 5" Louboutin pumps, and she wasn't that much taller than him. Is Tom wearing lifts? Or is Rosamund slouching? We're so confused!

While Tom is about 5'7", the character he plays in the flick is supposed to be about a foot taller, and many fans questioned the casting choice. When Tom introduced the first footage of the flick at CinemaCon last spring, he joked, “For those of you who know the books, I'm obviously not 6'5", like Jack Reacher. But Lee felt that I was the right guy to drive fast cars and kick the sh*t out of people onscreen.”

As long as he gets the job done, we don't care!

Kristen Stewart tried to let her sexy side out on Thursday night when she arrived in a see-through Erdem dress at the premiere of On The Road at the SVA Theater in New York City. We're a little shocked!

The 22-year-old actress didn't necessarily shine in her sheer outfit as she switched it up with a black leather jacket and jeans while heading to the after party at Abe & Arthur’s in the city's Meatpacking District. The casual look definitely fits her better!
