Tom Cruise hasn't been photographed with daughter Suri since their father/daughter outing to Disney World in July, and before everyone jumps to conclusions about the A-list actor abandoning his little girl, they should hear the reason behind the Rock of Ages star's absence!

"Tom has been in England shooting a film," Cruise's attorney Bert Fields tells E! News.

Not that he has been shirking on daddy duty!

"He calls Suri every day, sometimes twice a day. He loves Suri and is a constant presence in her life. As in the past, when he's shooting in a foreign countru, he has to rely on daily phone calls," Fields adds.

The fashionable 6-year-old is keeping busy with mom Katie Holmes these days, and even started classes at a prestigious private school in New York City last week.

The former power couple's split has apparently been hard on the little girl, however. "The divorce has been hard on Suri and she's acting out. Katie says no to some things, but gives a little leeway. She knows Tom is going to spoil her," a source close to Holmes told Us Weekly recently.

Rumors are rampant that there's a little Black Eyed Pea baby on the way, but Fergie says it isn't so!

The sexy singer appeared on the Rachael Ray Show yesterday, and when the chat session turned to baby making with husband Josh Duhamel, the 37-year-old offered her take on why there's always pregnancy speculation surrounding her.

"[People ask if I'm pregnant] every time I fluctuate a few pounds. Like right now, I'm a couple pounds up. Sometimes I go a couple pounds down and I wear the clothes that are more fitted, but people kind of look at me because they're expecting [that] it's that time. We do hope for children and that will be coming up, but it's not yet," she explained.

The blonde beauty also chatted about married life with her Las Vegas actor beau, lamenting, "I hate when he comes in in the middle of me getting ready. It just ruins the whole thing. I'm always like, 'Get out!' You want to come out and present," she joked.

We think Fergie Ferg looks fab no matter what size, but we have to admit we are a little disappointed there isn't a little one on the way!

Kim Kardashian has temporarily relocated to Miami while she films her spinoff Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, and to make sure she wasn't lonely, boyfriend Kanye West gifted her with a tiny kitten. The reality star couldn't help but gush on her official blog about her new pet, which she affectionately named Mercy after a song off West's Cruel Summer album.

"With me being in Miami, Kanye knew I would need some company when he wasn't around, so he surprised me with her," she wrote.

As we recall, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is a notorious neat freak who hates animals, and during her short lived marriage to Kris Humphries, rumors swirled that his beloved dogs were a big point of contention for the couple, so let's hope the furry feline is more than a filming prop!

"She's so sweet and the cutest thing ever!" the 31-year-old added.

Start spreading the news ... Scarlett Johansson is heading to Broadway!

The sexy starlet will be starring in the hit musical Cat On A Hot Tin Roof in December.

Johansson released the following statement:

"I am so thrilled to return to Broadway and feel incredibly fortunate to be doing so with Rob Ashford and such gifted actors."

ScarJo will play Maggie the Cat which is her first Broadway role since winning a Tony for her work in A View from a Bridge. Elizabeth Taylor played Maggie in the classic 1958 film.

The play will begin previews December 18 and open January 17 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

Paris Hilton wants the world to know that the audio clip captured in a NYC taxi cab was taken out of context. The audio was edited to appear that she hates gay people.

The blonde heiress was secretly recorded in a cab after hitting up New York Fashion week with friends.

Following the release of the audio, Paris issued the following statement to GLAAD:

"As anyone close to me knows, I always have been and always will be a huge supporter of the gay community. I am so sorry and so upset that I caused pain to my gay friends, fans and their families with the comments heard this morning.

I was having this private conversation with a friend of mine who is gay and our conversation was in no way towards the entire gay community. It is the last thing that I would ever want to do and I cannot put into words how much I wish I could take back every word."

In a separate statement, Paris adds:

"Gay people are the strongest and most inspiring people I know. It is so wrong when people bully or put down others for being gay. No one should have to go through that.

Again, I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart and I feel absolutely horrible. I hope that everyone can accept my apology and know that it is not who I am or how I feel in any way."

At the time of the recording, Paris' gay friend was showing her the iPhone app Grindr, which advertises itself as the "most popular all-male location-based social network out there," offering "quick, convenient, and discreet" connections.
