A solo Eva Mendes ran errands in West Hollywood yesterday, and the 38-year-old actress might not have been with beau Ryan Gosling, but she was still dressed to impress in a sexy retro-inspired outfit.

Eva and Ryan recently wrapped filming on The Place Beyond the Pines, which is about a motorcycle stunt rider who "considers committing a crime in order to provide for his wife and child, an act that puts him on a collision course with a cop-turned-politician," according to IMDb. Yes, Ryan is the biker (complete with a Miley Cyrus-esque blonde hairstyle) and Eva is his ladylove, so if you're a fan of the couple, this flick will be right up your alley...

Hubby John Travolta was nowhere in sight (maybe he was relaxing with a massage?), but Kelly Preston was all smiles when we snapped her and a male friend lunching at Tavern in Brentwood on Tuesday.

Kelly recently returned home after a trip to Tahiti, and it appears as though she's put her husband's alleged sex scandal behind her. Back in May two male masseurs filed lawsuits against the actor claiming that he made unwanted sexual advances towards them during massages.

Earlier this month Travolta fired back at Fabian Zanzi, the cruise ship worker who accused him of sexual assault in 2009, filing a counter suit claiming the story was a complete fabrication. (For the record, Zanzi claims that Travolta exposed himself during a neck massage aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise and offered to pay him $12,000 to stay mum on the incident.) Travolta wants the lawsuit dismissed and for Zanzi to pay his attorney's fees. Hmm, think that'll happen?

Good thing she has AAA!

On Tuesday Paris Hilton got her eyebrows done in Beverly Hills, but her glorious afternoon hit a bit of a snag when her Lexus LFA (a car which retails for a modest $375,000) wouldn't start.

Turns out the valet left her headlights on which drained the battery! Lucky for P, she was able to get her fancy whip jumpstarted, and seeing as she has a few other cars in her garage, she didn't seem too bummed about it.

Later in the evening the heiress went to go see a movie with her pal Whitney, and we're not sure what the ladies saw, but based on her tweets, it sounds like it was either Total Recall or The Campaign!

We didn't even realize that they were dating!

Avril Lavigne's rep has confirmed that the 27-year-old singer is engaged to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, 37.

While the couple haven't publicly commented on their relationship, Lavigne did tweet back in February that the two were working on her upcoming album together (she posted the pic below and wrote "Bro'ing out with Chad Kroeger in the studio"), and today she re-tweeted a congratulatory message from his bandmates.

Kroeger reportedly presented the Canadian singer with a 14-carat diamond engagement ring on August 8. "He makes her so happy," a source tells People magazine. "Both of their families could not be more excited."

This will be Lavigne's second marriage and Kroeger's first. She filed for divorce from Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley in October of 2009 after three years of marriage, and in January she split reality star Brody Jenner after two years of dating.

After being questioned by police yesterday regarding a reported robbery, Lindsay Lohan's skipping town!

Linds was at Los Angeles International Airport Tuesday afternoon, headed for New York City, and while she flashed us a quick smile, she didn't care to elaborate on the incident, which is currently under investigation.

Lohan partied at a mansion in the Hollywood Hills Sunday night with her brother Cody and her assistant Gavin Doyle. The party lasted until Monday morning, which was around the time the owner of the home noticed that several expensive items from his home were missing.

A source tells X17online exclusively, "It looks like the owner of the home realized some of his personal belongings were missing [Monday] morning and he went crazy, accusing people in the house. He eventually called the cops to come investigate."

It can't be all play and no work!

Gwen Stefani has been soaking up the summer with frequent trips to the beach with her boys lately, but today the No Doubt singer headed into an LA office building to take care of business! The blonde bombshell was more dressed down than usual in ripped jeans, a black tank, and funky cinched tan heels. Something that never changes? Her signature red lips!

The 42-year-old divulged in a recent interview why she took a break from the band to pursue a solo career.

"There's nothing that compares to being in a band with your best friends you've known all these years. Playing live is so automatic and so electric. That whole period when I got to do[solo] records, to me it was indulging my theatrical side, and getting to be really creative that way; like, do costumes, and costume changes; do music that was electronic and not have to worry about a drummer or anything else - songs that were never meant to be taken seriously, just for fun. It was just a project I did that was very inspired, and it kind of got a little out of control, really. But there's no place like home; we're so comfortable together, we understand each other. It feels, like, normal. Whereas that [solo] period felt like I was trying to be something, and play a role, and pretend," she explained.

We cannot wait for the new album Push and Shove to hit stores!

A New York judge just signed off on Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' divorce papers, officially ending their 5-year-marriage. The divorce was conducted in lightning speed, since Holmes only filed in June.

The former couple wanted a swift settlement to remain on amicable terms for the sake of their daughter, Suri, 6, who Holmes got primary custody of.
