On Sunday Katie Holmes took daughter Suri Cruise to Alice's Tea Cup in New York City, which they've been to a number of times over the years. Suri is especially fond of the restaurant's grilled cheese, and when they dined there back in July, Katie even purchased the eatery's cookbook. Perhaps she'll be whipping up a few of their popular dishes at home?

Later in the afternoon the two enjoyed a mommy/daughter movie date, catching a screening of The Odd Life Of Timothy Green, and on Saturday Katie taught her little girl how to ride a bike ... talk about a busy weekend!

Just last week Katie moved the last of her belongings out of ex-husband Tom Cruise's Beverly Hills mansion, but seeing as she started renting her own place in NYC back in June, we're guessing most of the important things were already moved out. She could always keep her stuff in So Cal, seeing as she was given the couple's Montecito estate in their divorce settlement ... it would be a shame not to use it!

Oprah's long-awaited interview with Rihanna aired on her OWN network Sunday and fans finally got to see Rihanna's self expose -- she revealed her true feelings about ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

The singer said simply, "I think he was the love of my life." She says that three years after Brown's brutal attack on her: "We're very, very close friends. We built trust again and that's it. We love each other and we probably always will."

Tony Scott committed suicide on Sunday when he jumped off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro around 12:30pm, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Scott's body was pulled out of the water by LAPD, California Highway Patrol and U.S. Coast Guard officials, and several eyewitnesses saw him climb over a fence on the bridge and jump to his death.

Scott's body was recovered by divers around 4:30pm, and a suicide note was found in his Toyota Prius, which was parked on one of the eastbound lanes of the bridge.

Scott, who is the younger brother of director/producer Ridley Scott, directed movies like Top Gun, Days Of Thunder, Enemy of the State and Beverly Hills Cop II. He was 68 years old.
