James Holmes has been charged with 24 counts of murder for killing 12 people and injuring 58 others at an Aurora, Colorado, movie theater on July 20 during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises.

Holmes, 24, was also charged with 116 counts of attempted murder, along with one count of possession of explosives and another of committing a crime of violence.

He was charged with two counts of first-degree murder for each victim who died; one for allegedly intending to cause harm and the other for allegedly acting with extreme indifference to human life, according to court documents.

The charges carry a minimum sentence of life in prison and a maximum of the death penalty.

This is the first child for the couple, who wed in 2003.

Jack Osbourne took care of errands around his Los Feliz neighborhood on Sunday, and the 26-year-old was all smiles on his day about town. The Osbournes star looked relaxed in cargo pants, a white t-shirt, and sunglasses, and we couldn't be happier to see Sharon and Ozzy's son in such good spirits!

Ever since he was diagnosed with MS just weeks after the birth of his daughter Pearl, the new dad has exhibited nothing but strength and courage as he deals with the disease, and he recently revealed he's found support in fellow MS sufferer Montel Williams.

"Montel has been a really great source of information because he's so knowledgeable about MS. He's had it for a long time and he's very active in the world so he's kind of my go-to guy when anything comes up," he explained of his newfound friendship with the talk show host.

We have to hand it to Jack for taking it all in stride!

The Hawthorne star maintains her shape by eating for fuel and not for fun. "I don't eat for pleasure. [I] had the only West Indian grandmother that could not cook. She was an awful cook, and she taught me that you don't eat for taste, you eat for nourishment. And I have kept that over the years, so I can eat anything that's healthy," she explained of her diet philosophy to Essence magazine.

The cast of Modern Family has finally ended their family feud!

After weeks of salary disputes, cancelled table reads, and tense negotiations, the six adult stars of the Emmy winning TV show have agreed in principle to new contracts with producer 20th Century Fox television.

Previously raking in an estimated $65,000 per episode, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara will now make a reported $150,000 per episode. With bonuses and back-end profits, the actors' salary will jump to an estimated $350,000 per episode. Although Ed O'Neill used to be the highest paid actor on the show, salaries are now pretty much even between the entire cast.

In exchange for the substantial raise, the cast has agreed to tack on another year to their seven season contracts and drop the lawsuit that was filed to void their pre-existing contracts.

"It's no surprise, but I'm of course thrilled and I cannot wait to get on stage Monday morning and start making the show again. It'll feel great, I'm sure everybody is going to be very relieved and I hope that it's the beginning of a great season. I feel really good about it. I'm very happy for my friends on the cast for their success, I really am," show co-creator Steve Levitan told THR.

In 2011 alone, Modern Family generated $164 million in advertising revenue for ABC.

The show can't go on without its stars, so hefty salaries were a small price to pay for our favorite family making their return to TV!

Over the weekend the supermodel was snapped on the beach in Costa Rica, and she showed off her baby bump in yet another skimpy swimsuit. No complaints here -- she looks like a million bucks!

Er, make that $45 million bucks? Last month Forbes released their list of the highest paid supermodels, and the Brazilian beauty took the number one spot based on her earnings from runway and print gigs, spokesperson deals and independent licensing ventures. Not a bad way to earn a living! Think there's any chance she might retire after baby number two?

Conrad Murray is determined on proving his innocence!

The incarcerated doctor wants a key piece of evidence from the Michael Jackson trial retested to prove the King of Pop injected himself with the drugs that killed him, not Murray.

In a motion filed today by his lawyers, Murray has asked an appeals court to test the residue in an 100 milliliter bottle of propofol. Murray claims he was trying to wean the "Thriller" singer off the drug, so he was mixing it with lidocaine. Prosecution expert Dr. Steven Shafer's theory was that the doctor mixed the two drugs, hooked Jackson up to an IV drip, and left the room.

"However, if the residue is 100% propofol, it would absolutely refute Shafer's final contention that was used to prove an IV propofol infusion," the motion states.

Murray's defense team maintains that Jackson self-administered a fatal dose of propofol, in addition to swallowing eight lorazepam tablets while Murray wasn't watching.

The motion asks the appeals court to order the Los Angeles County Coroner to either test the residue or hand it over to a private lab for testing. Murray is currently serving a four year prison sentence for the involuntary manslaughter conviction.
