The former True Blood star decided to add the hardware to her nose at Venice Beach tattoo parlour, and was in visible pain while the ring was put in, squirming and saying 'ah, f***.'

She seemed to forget all about the pain after the fact, tweeting, "Special thanks to Victor at House of Ink in venice beach on the boardwalk, for piercing my nose. I must warn you, do not watch that last video if you are squeamish."

Katie Holmes had no plans of speaking with Tom Cruise while nailing down final divorce plans.

The soon-to-be single actress spoke with her lawyers using disposable phones so that Cruise wouldn't be able to know about her conversations, according to various online reports.

Holmes hired three law firms in three different states to represent her in the divorce case.

In the divorce settlement, Holmes will have primary custody of Suri, however Cruise will be allowed a "meaningful relationship" with his 6-year-old daughter.

The couple released the following statement, "We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other's commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other's roles as parents."

Holmes, who was raised Catholic, is also reportedly against Suri's involvment in Scientology.

A family friend of Usher is being investigated for the jet ski accident that left the Grammy winner's stepson with Tameka Foster brain dead.

Jeffrey S. Hubbard, 38, was riding a jet ski that collided with 11-year-old Kyle Glover and a female friend on Georgia's Lake Lanier on July 8, causing the pre-teen to be airlifted to an Atlanta hospital, where he currently remains on life support. The children were being pulled in an inner tube when Hubbard lost control of his craft and struck Glover in the head. The boy was unresponsive and face up in the water by the time rescue department rangers reached him.

"The accident is under investigation, and Hubbard is [under investigation] as the operator of the personal watercraft," Sgt. Mike Burgamy of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources told ABC News. Officials said neither drugs nor alcohol are suspected in the tragic accident. No word on whether the family will chose to keep their son on life support.

Still dealing with the tragedy, Usher has pulled out as a presenter at tonight's ESPY awards.

After leaving Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, Robin Thicke was involved in a major car accident that totaled his black Porsche convertible.

According to the police report, Thicke said he avoided a car that cut him off on Sunset Blvd., and as a result, swerved into a parked car.

The singer, who was lucky to escape serious injury, videotaped an interview with police following the wreck.

Thicke's car, and the parked Volkswagen, were towed from the scene. Police don't believe the singer was under the influence.
