Add one more to the Hollywood baby boom!

Claire Danes and her husband Hugh Dancy are expecting their first child, her rep confirms to People.

Danes wed Dancy, 37, in a private ceremony in 2009. The baby announcement is not expected to impact production on the actress's show Homeland, which premieres its second season on Showtime Sept. 30.

An official statement from the couple has yet to be released.

A source tells People:

"Her inner circle has been planning this and switching out cell phones since she was in China [in mid-June]. When new cell phones arrived, then nobody could reach her. Her old best friends from last week don't have her new number, no email. She's unreachable."

Katie, 33, had rented a New York City apartment in June, and has since been staying there. The source adds:

"[Tom] knew that she moved there, but [he thought it was] for different reasons. She was talking to Tom on the phone up until last week saying, 'I love you.' She said she moved there to drive into the underground garage. It was the first phase of getting everything out of the house, and that's why she was able to say she's moving without giving an indication that she was going to divorce him."

Her father, Martin, reportedly helped her clear all belongings from her previous NYC apartment that she shared with Cruise.

Tom, who's been working in Iceland on his film Oblivion, celebrated his 50th birthday this week in LA while Katie and Suri, 6, stayed behind in NYC. A source tells Us Weekly that he "begged her[Katie] to come to Iceland for one last try at reconciliation."

The source adds that the two stars recently had a "huge fight," but Tom "was confident he could talk her out of it and keep her with him."

Holmes filed for divorce last Thursday after five years of marriage to Cruise. She is seeking sole legal custody of their 6-year-old daughter, Suri.

Michael Jackson's son Prince is growing up before our eyes!

The 15-year-old actor left Aquarium City in Canoga Park with his hands full. Looks like Michael's son picked up some goodies for the family's fish.

Katy Perry is gearing up for tomorrow's release of her film Katy Perry: Part of Me which follows her life on and offstage. The film also addresses her split from Russell Brand after only 14 months of marriage.

Perry, who is decked out in red, white and blue for Parade, tells the mag why her divorce drama was included in the flick. The "Firework" songstress says:

“I think if people walked out of the theater and that was completely avoided, they would be like, ‘Well, there’s an elephant in the room that’s still there.’ I like to go out there looking like a strong woman, because I am strong. But I am also a woman who goes through all kinds of problems and highs and lows. I wanted to show the complete spectrum.”

On her reaction to President Obama's support of same-sex marriage, Katy adds:

“I was really happy; I probably went down to West Hollywood and had a shot. I came from a different mind-set growing up, and my mind has changed. My viewpoint on all these things—equality for women, the choice to love anyone you want ..."

It's only been days since Katie Holmes announced her filing for divorce from Tom Cruise and it looks like she's already found a new place to call home.

The 33-year-old actress has recently rented a plush apartment in Chelsea, Manhattan for $12,000 a month. Sources report that Holmes secretly signed the lease on the place three weeks ago while Cruise has been out of town filming his new movie Oblivion in northeastern Iceland.

The 12-room, 4,000 square-foot four-bedroom luxury apartment is filled with modern photography by Robert Mapplethorpe, paintings by Hudson River School masters, and busts from ancient Greece and Rome.

Yesterday, cameras caught Joel Madden making a quick coffee run in Malibu and he seems in good spirits despite them spelling his name "Jole" on the cup!

The Good Charlotte member's wife Nicole Richie and their two kids were nowhere to be seen during Joel's java run. He's recently returned from Australia after wrapping up his coaching duties on their version of The Voice, so he'll certainly have some more time with the family!
