It's been almost two years since John Mayer chatted with Playboy and revealed that Jessica Simpson was "sexual napalm", and he still can't stop talking about it!

He does have an album coming out tomorrow, so I guess it makes sense that he'd want to generate as much publicity as possible...

John chatted with Guy Raz on NPR the other day, and the 34-year-old singer admits that he gave the controversial interviews because he just wanted to stay relevant people to like him. "I had nothing to say – I was going through a time in my life where I didn't really want to share what was going on, but I didn't want to be boring," Mayer admits.

"I remember thinking to myself, 'We gotta give a Rolling Stone interview … I don't want anybody at Playboy to think this is a boring interview.' I got those lines so crossed, that what you read – among other things, obviously – is this complete miscalculation in why I was asked to do the interview."

Mayer continued, "I'd read comments [that said], 'He's a d-bag.' And then you go, 'No, I'm not!' If you're a control freak you [think], I'm going to figure out a way to make that one guy say, 'He's not all that bad.'" We're still not sure how he was aiming to do that by revealing personal facts about his famous exes, but at least he seems to have learned from his mistakes. "I completely lost sight of what the original plan was, which is [to] make music for anybody who wants to hear it," he added. "There was a part of me that was dead – a certain thoughtfulness that was gone."

On his fifth studio album, Born and Raised, Mayer says, "I hope people want to receive this music. I have so much that I need to say – I hope I get a chance to say it. I hope people are interested." We do love his music ... we just wish he'd keep his mouth shut when he's not singing!

Ex-CSI star Gary Dourdan faces some new legal issues as the actor has been issued a bench warrant today.

The much maligned Dourdan received the warrant this morning after failing to show up to a mandatory court hearing for his domestic violence case, which could land him behind bars.

According to his lawyers, Dourdan has been working on a project in Morocco and was unable to make his scheduled flight from Frankfurt in time to make the pretrial hearing this morning. Dourdan's team advised judge Stephanie Sautner that his new flight should arrive at LAX around 12:45 p.m. and the actor will be in court immediately after, who's staring at a deadline of 2:30 p.m.

Dourdan, 45, was arrested back in November for felony battery charges after ex-girlfriend Nicole Vail Cannizzaro claimed the actor punched her in the face and broke her nose during a scuffle at his Venice home.

Jennifer Garner took daughters Violet and Seraphina to the Farmers Market over the weekend, and after that, the trio met up with Ben Affleck for brunch. Though they left baby Samuel at home with the nanny, the happy family seemed to have a blast together. I guess this means the rumors of Ben and Jen's marital troubles can't be true, right?

After already being one of the top social media personalities on the internet with over 24 million Twitter followers, Lady Gaga has her sights set on creating her own social media vehicle.

Dubbed LittleMonsters.com, the site specifically caters to the Mother Monster's fanbase and is currently in the invite-only beta testing stage. It's also the first site launched by Backplane, a tech startup co-founded by Gaga's manager, Troy Carter.

“Backplane is about bringing together communities and Gaga’s community just so happens to be the community we’re using to learn about proper functionality,” CEO and co-founder Matt Michelsen said. “We think we can really change the world.”

Members of Little Monsters can create or share Gaga-related content, interact with fellow “Little Monsters” and publicly show whether they like what other users post on the site that resembles a mashup between Pinterest and Reddit. An official launch date has yet to be announced but should occur this year, with other spin-off sites in tow to capitalize off of Gaga's immense internet following.
