Roseanne just took to Twitter to defend herself against claims she's a racist, and the comedienne seems to be trying really hard to convince people that her "Planet of the Apes" comment about Obama aide Valerie Jarrett was misinterpreted.

"I want u all2 know I’m fine. I’ve been using this time2 reflect &2 gain insight on what I said & how it was misunderstood. Needless2 say I’m NOT what people have accused me of! I’ve never practiced ‘RACISM’ in my entire life & never will," she wrote.

The TV star went on to try and tie the Planet of the Apes writer and his anti-Semitism to Obama's Iran deal, but we're not sure we're following.

"Rod Serling wrote Planet of The Apes. It was about anti-semitism. That is what my tweet referred to-the anti semitism of the Iran deal. Low IQ ppl can think whatever they want," she continued.

Then she gave her fans an update on how she's doing in the wake of the scandal.

"Guys, I have been planting trees digging in the earth singing and feeling a great deal of relief. I will begin to speak for myself in media soon. I have developed a bit of palsy in my head and hands due to the stress I have lived thru-I sleep alot now-without ambien too, thank G0D!! goodnight-we are winning! don't give up! This isn't the first time the D&G founder has made waves with his controversial opinions. He recently dissed Kate Moss, and he's also been outspoken about opposing LGBTQ adoption, despite the fact that he's openly gay.

Kim Kardashian touched down in Memphis today to meet freed prisoner Alice Marie Johnson for the first time face-to-face, just weeks after going to the White House to personally ask President Trump to pardon Johnson, who was serving a life sentence for a first time nonviolent offense.

The two shared a hug on the doorstep of Johnson's family home, before sitting down for an interview and goofing around on Snapchat together. It seems like they're BFFs now!

Ms. Johnson penned a thank you letter to the reality star after her release, and wanted people to know what a big heart the E! starlet had.

"Dear Ms. Kardashian, I am so humbled by what you are doing and have already done on my behalf. When I spoke with Attorney Shawn Holley and she disclosed the name of my benefactor, I had to take time to process and digest the news that you were the one she had been alluding to. There are no words strong enough to express my deep and heartfelt gratitude. Ms. Kardashian, you are literally helping to save my life and restore me to my family. I was drowning and you have thrown me a life jacket and given me hope that this Life jacket I’m serving may one day be taken off," Johnson wrote.

"There are defining moments in history that have shaped the destiny of this nation. I believe that we are part of a defining moment. When Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on that bus (the same year that I was born – 1955)… that was a defining moment. Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning after getting into an altercation with a security guard at the Beverly Hills hotel. Earlier in the day, she posted a photo to Instagram of herself hanging by the pool with Mark Cuban.

"On June 13, 2018, at approximately 1:19 a.m., Beverly Hills Police officers responded to the Beverly Hills Hotel for a report of a disturbance inside the hotel restaurant. Officers arrived shortly thereafter and made contact with the person complained of, Farrah Abraham,” a spokesperson for the Beverly Hills Police Department told People.

“A male adult hotel security officer reported that he asked Abraham to leave the hotel after she refused to disengage from a verbal altercation with hotel guests. The security officer reported that Abraham struck him in the face with her forearm, grabbed his ear and pushed him in the face as he attempted to prevent her from re-entering the hotel. Officers noted that Abraham exhibited signs of intoxication during the investigation," they added.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the amateur porn star can be heard telling cops to "go f*ck yourselves" as she was being loaded into the cruiser. When she realized her fate, she burst into tears and insisted she wasn't resisting arrest.

The single mom is still being held on $500 bail for misdemeanor battery and trespassing.
