Brad Pitt and his ladylove Angelina Jolie may possibly be joining each other on the big screen in the upcoming Ridley Scott-directed movie The Counselor, according to Deadline.

Jolie is currently in talks to play the female lead Malkina who is described as a "sexually charged femme fatale." Shame star Michael Fassbender is reportedly attached to the project.

The movie revolves around an attorney, played by Fassbender, who "is in search of a big payday" after proposing to his girlfriend.

Production will begin this June.

A source close to X Factor production tells X17online exclusively, Britney Spears' negotiations to be a judge on the singing competition show aren't quite as close as multiple news outlets have been reporting:

"Things may not be as advanced as everyone is assuming; these things take along time. Anything can happen."

Our source clearly didn't deny Spears is in talks with the show's producer, Simon Cowell, but said Britney being hired for the show is "not a done deal."

Reports have claimed Britney is close to signing a record-breaking $12 million contract to appear in one of the judges' chairs after Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were fired at the end of the show's last season.

Further complicating negotiations could be the recent court petition filed by Spears' fiance Jason Trawick, to become co-conservator for the pop star, along with Brit's dad Jamie Spears.

A spokesperson for The X Factor refused to confirm or deny being in talks with Britney.

Scarlett Johansson covers the new issue of Vogue Magazine, and the 27-year-old actress chats about her role in The Avengers, her painful split from ex-hubby Ryan Reynolds and yes, those infamous naked pictures.

On her split from ex-husband Ryan Reynolds, ScarJo tells the mag, "It was horrible. Of course it’s horrible. It was devastating. It really throws you. You think that your life is going to be one way, and then, for various reasons or whatever, it doesn’t work out. This was something I never thought I would be doing. Warner Bros. has officially turned down Mel Gibson's new screenplay about biblical Jewish figure Judah Maccabees, THR reports.

The Oscar winner was planning to produce and possibly star in the film, which was written by Joe Eszterhas, the mastermind behind such classics as Basic Instinct and Showgirls.

Eszterhas has been vocal about the script's rejection and posted a blistering 9-page letter which exposes a serious rift between the writer and his boss, Gibson, saying:

"I’ve come to the conclusion that the reason you won’t make ‘The Maccabees’ is the ugliest possible one. You hate Jews."

Whoa! It's a serious accusation, but not the first time anti-semitism claims have been lodged against Gibson.

"You continually called Jews 'Hebes' and 'oven-dodgers' and 'Jewboys.' It seemed that most times when we discussed someone, you asked 'He’s a Hebe, isn’t he?' You said most 'gatekeepers' of American companies were 'Hebes' who 'controlled their bosses.

You said the Holocaust was 'mostly a lot of horses**t.' You said the Torah made reference to the sacrifice of Christian babies and infants. When I told you that you were confusing the Torah with The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, ... you insisted 'it's in the Torah -- it's in there!' (It isn't)."

He says the only reason Gibson wants to make The Maccabees, was so he could “convert the Jews to Christianity.”
