Looking chic in an LBD and tweed jacket, California's former First Lady escorted Olympic gold medal decathlete Rafer Johnson to lunch at The Tavern on Tuesday afternoon, and their friendship actually dates all the way back to 1968!

Johnson was not only the first black African to win the gold medal for the 100-meter dash at the 1960 Olympics in Rome (while barefoot!), he also helped capture Robert F. Kennedy's assassinator, Sirhan Sirhan, at the Ambassador Hotel in LA on the night Bobby Kennedy won California's Democratic primary.

The athlete reached the gun-wielding killer first, grabbed the weapon and pinned him to the ground before authorities captured him. Shriver has forever been grateful to Johnson for attempting to save her uncle, so we're betting lunch was her treat!

James Van Der Beek's family is growing!

The Dawson's Creek star and his wife Kimberly welcomed their second child, a boy, on Tuesday, the actor announced via Twitter.

Van Der Beek revealed:

“Had my first son this morning… well, actually, my wife had him. I just caught him. Wow. Heart expanding way faster than my brain.”

The proud papa later added, “If you could bottle up and distribute this feeling, I swear there’d be no more war. #fatherhood”

The couple was married in August 2010, and also have a 17-month-old daughter, Olivia.

Channeling a sexy 1960's screen siren, Nicole Richie stepped out in a brilliant yellow Grecian-inspired gown paired with an edgy belt, sparkly stilettos and retro makeup, as she promoted the premiere of her new reality show, Fashion Star, in NYC on Tuesday night.

The House of Harlow designer will serve as a fashion mentor alongside fellow designers Jessica Simpson and John Varvatos, with model Elle MacPherson hosting. Each week, viewers will have a chance to buy the week’s winning collection online -- and in stores! -- as soon as the show has finished airing. LOVE that!

The winner will also receive a $6 million contract to have their clothes sold at Macy’s, H+M and Saks Fifth Avenue.

It's Honor Marie and Haven Garner Warren's cover girl debut!

The fashionable 3-year-old and 7-month-old girls joined their movie star mamma Jessica Alba on the cover of Parenting magazine's April issue, and little Honor got to wear a tiara for part of the shoot!

Alba revealed to the mag that she is definitely the "disciplinarian" of the family, confessing:

"I think it's because I was kind of a naughty kid myself: I'd push my parents' buttons and test them to see how much I could get away with. Cash, meanwhile, was always the perfect kid -- the straight-A student who was everyone's sweetheart. It was never in him to be naughty."

The Fantastic Four star also revealed how she was able to get her only daughter excited about the idea of a sibling. "We'd say things like, 'You know, when the baby comes, babies can't have lollipops or go on a swing. They can't play dress-up,'" she said. "Honor realized she was going to be the cool sister. Now, she's really into being my helper. When I change Haven's diaper, I ask her, 'Can you throw this away for Mommy?' or 'Can you get me the wipes?' She's really into it."

Hubby Cash Warren has also become a "super dad," since the girls were born, says Alba. "If I'm with Haven, he'll make Honor's lunch or take her to the park. They see movies or draw together -- she'll even watch sports with him." Aww!
