Here come the excuses.
Roseanne is blaming the racist tweets that got her show canceled on the sleeping drug Ambien, saying that she wasn't operating on her best judgement when she made the remarks.
"Don’t feel sorry for me, guys!!-I just want to apologize to the hundreds of people,and wonderful writers (all liberal) and talented actors who lost their jobs on my show due to my stupid tweet. I will be on Joe Rogan’s podcast Friday,†she wrote on her social media account.
"Guys I did something unforgiveable so do not defend me. It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting-it was memorial day too-i went 2 far & do not want it defended-it was egregious Indefensible [sic]. I made a mistake I wish I hadn’t but…don’t defend it please. hey guys, don’t defend me, it’s sweet of you 2 try, but…losing my show is 0 compared 2 being labelled [sic] a racist over one tweet-that I regret even more," she added.
In case you missed it, the comedian wrote that Obama's former aide Valerie Jarrett looked like "the Muslim brotherhood and planet of the apes had a baby," and people were shocked and disgusted.
The fallout is real, too! Not only was Roseanne canceled despite great ratings, but Barr was dropped from her management agency, and reruns have been pulled from Paramount Network, TV Land and CMT.
The lesson here is to be mighty careful with a keyboard, folks!

They already act like an old married couple!
Miley Cyrus went makeup-free for dinner at Soho House Malibu with fiance Liam Hemsworth and a few of their pals over the weekend, and it's crazy how much times have changed! Just a few years ago, the "Wrecking Ball" songstress would have been smoking weed and twerking in her bikini on Memorial Day weekend!
The pair are outspoken vegans, so we imagine the eatery must have some cruelty-free meal options. As for cocktails? Well, the singer has been sober from drugs and alcohol for going on a year now, so it's unlikely their outing was a boozy occasion.
The two are rumored to have secretly tied the knot already, but a new report claims they're still just happily engaged. The nuptials are coming soon, though!
"They have been in love for almost nine years but the timing has never been right until now. Their massive careers, their ages and their families' input has kept them from getting married," a source dished to ET.
"Miley has come up with all sorts of different wedding plans. She is always creative and thinking of new ideas that will make her experience different, but recently she decided she would make it simple. She hasn't announced anything because she is being very secretive, so only their friends will know and at the very last minute. This time they are doing everything their own way," the source added.
They've been together longer than most other lovebirds in Hollywood!

Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner opted to stay in town on Memorial Day, but that doesn't mean they didn't celebrate the holiday! Instead, the sisters threw a "low-key" pool party at the mother-of-three's Calabasas mansion with some of their closest girlfriends, and paraded around in skimpy bikinis while soaking up some rays!
Kourt seems like she's enjoying her kid-free down time, as her brood is currently in St. Barths with ex Scott Disick and his girlfriend Sofia Richie. The eldest K sister wasn't initially wild about the teen model spending time with her children, but she's softened her stance in recent months.
"It helps that Kourtney now trusts Sofia. The kids are allowed to spend time with her. Sofia likes having them and helps Scott. So far, the kids are giving Kourtney good reports about Sofia," a source dished to People.
"Sofia has shown over and over again that she is willing to stay with Scott even when things are not great — but Scott is doing well lately," the source added, noting that LD "isn't really partying" anymore.
Even though she's having a blast with her girl squad, we bet she's ready for hot young boy toy Younes Bendjima to come back from overseas!

Roseanne has been abruptly canceled despite great ratings, after Barr sent a racist tweet that caused a huge backlash almost immediately.
The comedienne posted a photo of former President Barack Obama's aide Valerie Jarrett, and made derogatory remarks with her accompanying sentiment. "Muslim Brotherhood + Planet of the Apes + vj," she wrote, before adding that Muslims were "not a race."
Barr deleted the tweet and issued an apology, but it was too late.
“I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me-my joke was in bad taste," she shared.
Show writer Wanda Sykes was the first to jump ship, and actress Sara Gilbert expressed her outrage and tried to distance herself from the show. "“I will not be returning to@RoseanneOnABC,†Sykes tweeted.
"Roseanne’s recent comments about Valerie Jarrett, and so much more, are abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show. I am disappointed in her actions to say the least. This is incredibly sad and difficult for all of us, as we’ve created a show that we believe in, are proud of, and that audiences love— one that is separate and apart from the opinions and words of one cast member," Gilbert explained on social media.
Khloe Kardashian celebrated Memorial Day with a low-key snugglefest with daughter True, and she shared a snapshot of their hang sesh to Snapchat. We wish we could see her little one's face, but we guess the back of her head is almost as cute!
The Revenge Body star is still figuring out the future of her relationship with Tristan Thompson, but her main focus is on motherhood.
"She has good days and bad days with Tristan. They had a very calm relationship before those videos and pictures were released. Now their relationship has changed," the source added.
Part of the reality star's approach is keeping the unfaithful NBA star on a "tight leash," which isn't going over well with him.

What's the hold up?! They're both single!
Eminem and Nicki Minaj have been engaging in some heavy flirting on social media lately, and during his concert in Boston on Sunday, Slim Shady confessed to the crowd that he wants to date the "Pink Friday" songstress!
“I want to take this time out right now to give a shout to my babe, Nicki Minaj. Sweetheart, I’ll be home to figure this sh*t out," he said on stage.
"So wait, one more time. Let me make sure so I can actually make this official. How many people in Boston want me to date Nicki Minaj? Nicki, if you get this message, just text me later. We’ll talk about it," he added.
The buxom chart topper got the message loud and clear, and opened the door for him to make a move.
Chrissy Teigen shared this new snapshot of son Miles Theodore bonding with his big sister Luna on Instagram, and even though adding another baby to the mix can sometimes be tricky, it appears to be going smoothly in the Legend household.
The Sports Illustrated stunner's hubby John recently explained how they chose their little boy's unique name.
"We named our first daughter Luna Simone Stephens and every name we give to our kids I think will have a little bit of musical history to it. Miles of course is the same name as the great Miles Davis and Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together and had Miles Theodore Stephens. When he came out and we hung out with him for a little while, we were like, 'He looks like a Miles,'" he told E! News at the Billboard Music Awards.
The couple managed to sneak off for an adults-only dinner last night, and the "All of Me" crooner marked the occasion by posting a pic of the evening on social media.
It doesn't sound like the pair are done expanding their brood, either.
"I think I do want to have another baby after this and then get hot,†she told Us Weekly back in March. "I have a husband who truly loves the whole experience. Looks like a romantic vacay, but the kids are in tow! Scott Disick and Sofia Richie brought along the Lord's three kids to St. Barth in celebration of Disick's 35th birthday. We're guessing Sofia gifted her man with the trip, putting the entire crew on a private jet and renting the most expensive villa on the island, likely on Lionel Richie's dime. Hot teenage girlfriend and super-luxe trips for free -- sounds like a good deal for Scott!
The pair frolicked on the beach with Mason, Penelope, and Reign -- well mostly nanny Sofia frolicked ... Scott spent most of his time maxing and relaxing on the sand, watching his thong-wearing underage girlfriend take care of his kids. Hey, who wouldn't do that if they had the chance?!
