After checking in with her probation office in Santa Monica on Thursday afternoon, Lindsay Lohan exited the building with a big smile on her face, and a piece of paper granting her request to travel to NYC to host SNL!

The Mean Girls star will host the live show for the fourth time on March 3, and Lohan personally reached out to SNL exec producer Lorne Michaels to set up the gig, according to TMZ.

The troubled actress has been making great strides since her arrest for jewelry theft last year, and she received high marks from Judge Sautner on Wednesday, who told her, "You seem to be getting your life back on track, and that's what we all hoped for."

In other news, Lindsay has just signed on for the role of Elizabeth Taylor in the Taylor-Burton Lifetime TV entitled, Liz And Dick.

Self proclaimed "stoner" Miley Cyrus was spotted leaving a medical marijuana dispensary with a friend the other day, but the former Disney star was still in legal territory!

Under California law, the possession and cultivation of cannabis is legal for patients who possess a "written or oral recommendation" from their physician that he or she "would benefit from medical marijuana," and are legally protected under this act.

The singer has "sparked" much controversy over her use of the green stuff after she was caught on video announcing to pals at her 19th birthday party last year, “You know you’re a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake. You know you smoke way too much f—ing weed!”

Cyrus was also caught on tape smoking salvia, a legal hallucinogen, from a bong at a friend's house, but she's continued to deny smoking marijuana. BFF Kelly Osbourne has even rushed to the star's defense, Tweeting, "if Miley isn’t recording/filming/touring, she works every day. How could she possibly do all that if she was a stoner?”

Miley is legally allowed to accompany her pal into the dispensary's waiting room, but would not be permitted inside the actual dispensary without a valid medical marijuana card.

Gerard Butler has been seeking treatment for substance abuse at the Betty Ford Center for the past three weeks, according to TMZ.

Due to the "physical demands" of the 2006 film 300, Butler reportedly began relying on prescription meds to deal with the pain.

Last December, the 42-year-old actor was involved in a surfing accident which caused him to use prescription pills once again.

A source close to the site adds, "Butler also developed issues with cocaine."

Butler is expected to leave The Betty Ford Center today.

Tyra Banks can now add Harvard graduate to her growing list of career accomplishments!

The creator of America's Next Top Model recently graduated with a certificate from the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School on Friday, and she couldn't wait to share the exciting news with her fans.

Banks Tweeted after graduating, "Smiling ear2ear on the Harvard Business School campus w/ my diploma! Tnx 2 my fab photographer mama 4 the pic!"

The first African American to ever grace the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, Banks was anxious to return to college, after dropping out of Loyola Marymount University to pursue modeling at the tender age of 17.

The Covergirl spokesmodel told CBS last year on her decision to go back to school, "In order for my company to grow and be the best, and to reach these women, and to serve them, I needed the best. So I went to the best."
