Amanda Knox has landed a $4 million dollar book deal for her life story, according the The New York Times.

Jonathan Burnham, publisher of HarperCollins, emailed the following description to the paper:

"It is a story that everyone else seems to have told except for the person at the center of it all."

Knox, an American college student who is now 24, was imprisoned for four years in an Italian jail ... accused of murdering her roommate.

The email went on to say:

"There has been plenty of rumor and conjecture about her personality, the role she played in events, and speculation about what happened. This book will tell the full story from her point of view for the very first time, and it will be told in her own words."

The book will reportedly include her prison diaries and newspaper reports.

Is Nick Cannon's busy schedule catching up to him?

The singer/actor/radio personality told his morning show listeners he is stepping down as host of 92.3 NOW FM's morning drivetime show after a doctor ordered him to "put his health first," according to a statement posted on the station's web site:

"Under doctor's orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multitasking schedule. It has been an absolute pleasure working with CBS Radio and the 92.3 NOW morning show team and I would like to thank them for their unwavering support."

Cannon, 31, was hospitalized for mild kidney failure at the beginning of the year (Mariah Tweeted a photo). He Tweeted today:

"A bitter sweet morning," he tweeted today. "I have to stop my radio show. Doctors orders. The Doctors found blood clots in my lungs and said if I don't slow down and stop working so hard then it's a wrap! I guess I can't drive at 200 mph for the whole trip, Time to put the car in cruise control."

Nick will continue to host his syndicated Cannon's Countdown weekend show and America's Got Talent.

The 16-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashian's star also admitted to the joke. Kendall Tweeted, "Don't worry! Still a brunette! #fooledyou #sillyme."

Whitney Houston's on-again-off-again boyfriend Ray J (singer Brandy Norwood's brother) has released a statement about Houston's death, six days after the singer died in her hotel room.

"Over the past few days, I've tried to process the emptiness that I am experiencing. What my heart feels cannot be expressed in words. The world lost an icon, but I lost my close friend. Nippy, I miss you so much! You were so happy and full of love. Your smile will live in my heart forever."

When Ray J, 31, learned of Houston's death Saturday, he "rushed over" to the Beverly Hilton Hotel and "spent the night comforting Bobbi Kristina," an source told Us Weekly.

Whitney's funeral will be held Saturday at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ and her body will be buried at Westfield, NJ's Fairview Cemetery on Sunday.

Brad and Angie have been working the international red carpet for the past week. Just days ago, the hot twosome attended the movie's premiere in Sarajevo, Bosnia ... receiving a standing ovation from the crowd of 5,000 people. Pretty impressive!

The film, which Jolie wrote and directed, follows a romance between a Serbian soldier and a Bosnian woman during the 1990s war in the region, so obviously this was an issue very close to many of those in the audience.

In Wanderlust, Jen and Paul Rudd play a NYC couple who leave the Big Apple due to the recession and land in a Georgia commune ... where hippies are everywhere. Yep, Theroux plays a guy who is all about free love and marijuana. Whew ... he cleans up well.
