Madonna headed in to the Kabbalah Centre in New York covered in a black fur hat and vest Saturday. She kept her hands warm in Chanel leather glovelettes.
PETA named the animal-unfriendly singer "Worst-Dressed Celeb" in 2009 but that didn't seem to deter the superstar in her fur-wearing ways.
There's an old Kabbalah lesson that says some teachers wear their spirituality like a fur coat -- it warms only them but doesn't spread warmth to others. Kabbalah aims to share spiritual connections outside a believer's circle ... is Madonna spreading the love???
Check out video of Madonna and her kids (with a newly-shorn Lourdes) arriving to the Centre ...

Katherine Heigl and hubby Josh Kelley adopted their daughter Naleigh just over three years ago and they may be ready to do it again!
The couple and some friends had fun with the little tyke Saturday in Beverly Hills and the 33-year-old star admits she would like to expand her family. She told Parent & Child magazine: "We have talked about having biological children as well, but we decided to adopt first. I'd like to adopt again."
The One For the Money star tells the mag she knew she'd love an adopted child as much as one of her own: "Anyone who doesn't have experience with adoption wonders, 'Does love for a child come through DNA?' I knew it didn't ... They're yours. You love them the moment they're put into your arms. Josh had to learn that, but he was so gracious and accepting."

Dreamgirls star Jennifer Hudson and Chaka Khan will sing a tribute to Whitney Houston at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.
The "I Will Always Love You" singer was found dead Saturday in her Beverly Hills hotel room at the age of 48.
Although it hasn't been revealed which song Hudson and Khan will be performing, Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich said the following:
"It's too fresh in everyone's memory to do more at this time, but we would be remiss if we didn't recognize Whitney's remarkable contribution to music fans in general, and in particular her close ties with the Grammy telecast and her Grammy wins and nominations over the years."
Shortly after learning of Houston's death, Khan Tweeted, "I'm speechless ... I'm in shock right now. Just pray for her and the family."
Neil Portnow, Recording Academy President and CEO, released the following statement:
Six-time GRAMMY winner Whitney Houston was one of the world's greatest pop singers of all time who leaves behind a robust musical soundtrack spanning the past three decades. Her powerful voice graced many memorable and award-winning songs. A light has been dimmed in our music community today, and we extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, fans and all who have been touched by her beautiful voice."
The Grammy Awards, with the Whitney Houston tribute, airs tonight on CBS.

Police are investigating Whitney Houston's death at the Beverly Hilton Hotel; at 3:55pm PT Saturday, the singer was pronounced dead in a fourth-floor hotel room, with no immediately apparent cause of death.
There were "no obvious signs of criminal intent," Beverly Hills Police Department Lt Mark Rosen said today at a press conference.
Rosen said Houston's body would lie in situ and that the coroner's office would eventually take over the investigation.
When asked if drugs were found in the room, Lt Rosen said the investigation was "too fresh" and that there could be no speculation on the cause of death. Reporters were told the individuals who called 911 were part of the singer's "entourage."
