An estimated 150 Academy Award nominees gathered for the annual luncheon held in their honor at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Monday, but it was Best Actor noms George Clooney and
Brad Pitt who stole the show!
Clooney, who looked dapper in a dark silver suit, is expected to win the Best Actor nod for his role in
The Descendants, but he says his favorite part of awards season is getting to hang out with old friends.
"A lot of people at home think we all hang out together. I think they think we're always at the Hilton drinking champagne. The truth is I hadn't seen Brad in about a year" Clooney told reports at the luncheon. "So it's fun to catch up, and it's fun to see people I like and haven't seen in a long time."
The
Moneyball star also joked with reporters of his old pal, saying, "I met this guy named George. G-g-george, Jorge Clooney. Very nice guy. Very personable and very nice guy."
Meanwhile, Best Actress nominee Michelle Williams looked pretty and sweet in a 60's-inspired shift dress from Victoria Beckham's new line, "Victoria," which perfectly complimented her cute pixie 'do.
She's already won the Golden Globe, but wIll Michelle take home the Oscar for

That's one way to keep warm on set!
On a very chilly Monday atop the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, Leighton Meester and Penn Badgley had the daunting task of having to kiss each other for a scene in an upcoming episode of
Gossip Girl -- but we couldn't take our eyes off that glamorous couture gown!
Meester's character, Blair, finally fulfilled her dream of becoming a real-life princess when she tied the knot with Prince Louis in the show's 100th episode. We're guessing she'll end up with Badgley's character in the end, since she ran off with him on her wedding day, but for now, we're
loving her new royal wardrobe -- especially that tiara!
Don't hang up the crown just yet, B!

Looking surprisingly understated in jeans and a hot-pink tee, Amber Rose stepped out with a curvaceous and colorful friend who almost managed to steal all the attention while out in Hollywood, on Monday afternoon.
It seems Kanye West's former flame has decided to follow in his footsteps and pursue a music career full time. Last month the professional model released the Wiz Khalifa-assisted track "Fame," and new electro track, "Fully Loaded," is her follow up, which dropped online this week.
The song sounds like a combination of LMFAO and Ke$ha, and is full of such thought-provoking lyrics as, "H*** yeah, I like the finer things, sushi and diamond rings, big yachts and private planes, fast car's in my own lane."
Take a listen to Amber’s new track, and tell us what you think, after the jump ...
