The movie, also starring Matthew McConaughey and John Cusack, revolves around an investigation surrounding a murder in order to free a man on death row.

Kidman's role was originally given to Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, but the sexy Latina dropped out due to her television commitments. Zac Efron's role was originally for Tobey Maguire.

Director Lee Daniels was forced to delay production while he looked for new actors. Hopefully Zac and Nicole prove their worth!

Are these two planning a reunion for 2012?

After a highly publicized domestic violence assault in 2009, it appears former couple Chris Brown and Rihanna have officially put their painful past behind them.

The ex-pair have been posting tweets that confess their love for each other, and we can't help but wonder if they're heading for a reconciliation very soon -- but is that such a good idea?

The Twitter exchange began when Brown Tweeted: "Love U more than u know!"

Exactly two minutes later, Ri-Ri responded with, "I'll always love you #1love."

Rihanna and Brown still follow each other on Twitter, and the R&B singer even recently moved into his ex-girlfriend's neighborhood, although Rihanna is currently in the process of selling her home.

Earlier this month, Brown's mom tweeted to Miss Fenty, "HELLO LADY I MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU!!!!!! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!" to which she replied, "Miss+Love u 2"

The drama continues for Teen Mom star Amber Portwood, who just announced she could be leaving the reality series during a court hearing, following her probation arrest on Thursday.

The 21-year-old told the judge "I want to quit, and I will," referring to the MTV series that made her an international reality star, after documenting the birth of daughter, Leah, in 2008.

Portwood's Lawyer, Evan Broderick, says she was exploited by the MTV show, and has decided to move forward without the cameras documenting her every step.

An Indiana judge ruled that Amber must stay in jail until her next hearing on Jan. 27, because she violated the terms of her probation by neglecting to submit to drug tests, attend anger management classes, finish her GED, as well as failure to deposit money into a $10,000 education fund for her daughter. She was also in possession of pills she couldn't provide prescriptions for, a Class D felony, at the time of her arrest on Monday.

Portwood is currently under suicide watch after she was overheard telling a guard that she'd kill herself if sent back to prison.

The Teen Mom's probation stems from a June court hearing where she pleaded guilty to two counts of Class D felony domestic battery on her baby daddy, which was committed in the presence of her daughter.

Debra Messing and her husband of ten years, Daniel Zelman, split earlier this year, and already, she has a new man!

The former Will & Grace star is now dating her Smash co-star Will Chase, according to People.

On the NBC show premiering in February, Messing, 43, and Chase, 41, play "married people who are romantically entangled."

The new couple have been dating for six weeks. A source tells the mag:

"They had so many scenes together and they were playing people with a romantic past so it didn't seem odd. Things only really started to heat up between them several weeks ago."

Messing and Zelman are the parents to 7-year-old son Roman. Chase has two children from a previous marriage.

The source adds, "This is all very, very new."

Janet Jackson quickly made her way into a Beverly Hills OB-GYN office on Thursday, and while opening the door to the clinic (literally!), pregnant Kourtney Kardashian was walking out. After the two celebrities said a quick hello to each other, Ms. Jackson went in.

The pregnant Kourtney's obviously there for her growing baby, but is Janet there for a check-up or could she be in baby mode? Michael Jackson's younger sister, dressed in all black, kept busy on her cell phone while leaving the clinic and managed to avoid baby-related questions.

Janet, 45, has been dating 37-year-old billionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana for over two years. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar last year, Al Mana said the following about his ladylove:

"I think a man’s dream woman changes as he goes through different stages in his life. I’m fortunate to be dating my dream woman now."

Jackson seems to have found herself a good man. Perhaps a baby is the next step for these two. We'll definitely be keeping a close eye on the "Control" singer!

Taking the opportunity to show off her toned 'bod while strolling along the beach, the supermodel-turned-fashion designer, and her hubby Djimon Hounsou, looked happy and in love as they soaked up the sun in St. Barths, on Thursday afternoon.

The couple are vacationing in the South of France for the holidays with Kimora’s daughters, Ming, 10, and Aoki, 9, and their two-year-old son Kenzo, but they also made time to party with Lee's ex-hubby, Russell Simmons.

The Def Jam co-founder is in town to throw The 15th Annual Uncle Rush Bash On St. Barths, an important event that he Tweeted, "is only party I ever give that doesn't benefit charity the other 40 or so events per year are cause related." News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch appeared to have left all the drama behind, as he was spotted enjoying a relaxing holiday vacation with his family in St. Barth this week.

Murdoch, along with wife Wendi, son Lachlan, daughter-in-law Sarah O'Hare, grandson Kalan, 7, and granddaughter Aerin, 1, enjoyed a fun-filled day of sailing on their TWO 130-foot yachts, before spending a relaxing day on the beach and hitting up Louis Vuitton on the way back to their boat.

Despite the fact Murdoch's facing an ongoing investigation into his now-defunct New of the World newspaper's alleged phone hacking -- AND despite having stepped down and chief the British Murdoch newspapers -- the billionaire doesn't seem to be letting his troubles get him down!
