Kim Kardashian's ex-husband is finally employed!

Kris Humphries is gearing up to re-sign with the New Jersey Nets for a one-year deal worth an estimated $7 to $8 million, the New York Post reports.

The former reality star will rejoin his old team and hit the b-ball courts as early as Wednesday night, in a preseason game against the New York Knicks.

The NBA lockout, and sudden divorce from Kim K after 72 days, has left the basketball star with a lot of free time. Thankfully he can bounce right back into the game, and leave all the Kardashian drama behind!

Humphries recently revealed on an appearance with Good Morning America this month: "Through everything I've just focused on family and preparing for basketball. Basketball is something I take really seriously and I continue to do that. You know, I'm just moving forward."

Kim Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner recently flew to Haiti to spread awareness to the charity "We Advance" co-founded by actress Maria Bello. The organization brings much-needed aid to earthquake victims.

The 31-year-old reality star is now responding on her personal blog about "untrue" reports involving her trip. Kim wrote the following:

"As some of you know, my mom and I flew out to Haiti earlier this month to meet with Maria Bello and embark on an amazing journey together in Haiti. Our mission was to learn more about Maria’s charity, We Advance, meet the Haitian people who have made such amazing progress since the devastating earthquake in 2010, and celebrate the women of Haiti, who inspired me more than I ever could have anticipated.

While my experience was completely life-changing… a very emotional and surprisingly positive journey that I will never forget, some media outlets have tried to tarnish the motive behind my visit and have written completely ridiculous and untrue things. The National Enquirer wrote that I went to a fashion show in Haiti and spent a fortune pampering myself! The truth is that I was at the Haitian Artisan Fair, where the amazing men and women who make their jewelry and crafts sell them to visitors to make a living, and I bought some beautiful jewelry!! Reading this made me so disappointed in the media. Taking such a positive thing and writing something malicious and untrue."
