Britney Spears denied boyfriend Jason Trawick's proposal on her 30th birthday, according to In Touch Weekly.

A source close to the pop star and Trawick, 39, tells the mag:

“Jason got down on one knee and asked. Britney panicked and said she needed time to think.”

Brit's beau had originally planned to pop the question on Christmas, but instead, decided that a proposal on her December 2nd birthday would be best. Trawick even showed Britney the ring, according to ITW. Guess it wasn't the right time!

“She won’t rush into anything without giving it a lot of thought," adds the source.

Christmas is almost a week away, so perhaps Brit will be an engaged woman soon enough!

We spotted Kim Kardashian cruising around her neighborhood today, and it appears as though the reality TV starlet was texting and driving! Perhaps she was just fiddling around with some lip gloss in her purse, but for everyone's sake, we hope she takes her eyes off her lap and focuses them on the road where they belong!

Wouldn't want her messing up her pretty face (or that tricked out Range Rover) in a nasty crash...

Rooney appeared on last night’s episode of The Late Show With David Letterman, and she revealed that producers had doubts as to whether she could pull off the role of Lisbeth Salander. So what did she do to prove herself? She hit the bars, of course! ”It had been two months at that point [of the audition process], and I was just relieved to go out and get drunk,” Rooney joked, adding that she vomited all night.

The actress was nominated for a Golden Globe this morning for her role in the thriller, so it sounds like her horrific hangover was well worth it!

After two years together, Ashley Tisdale and Scott Speer have split, according to a source for Us Weekly.

Tisdale and Speer began their romance in the spring of 2009, just one month after she broke up with V Factory musician Jared Murillo. Speer has directed several of Tisdale's music videos over the years, but he's also worked with artists like The Veronicas, Jordin Sparks, Paula Abdul and Paris Hilton, so we can't imagine he was using Ash as a way to further his own career.

"They had been on and off for a while. They tried to work it out but realized their relationship ran its course," a source tells the mag.

The last time we spotted the couple together was at The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part One premiere in November, and we've been seeing less and less of them in recent months. Bummer!

Mason Disick turned 2 on Wednesday, and the adorable tot got to spend his big day with pregnant mom, Kourtney Kardashian and dad, Scott Disick. Aside from his 'rents, the lucky birthday boy also got to hang with the Disney characters!

The family of three made sure to keep warm as they made their way to the Staples Center for a performance of Disney On Ice: Toy Story 3.

Proud mama Kourtney Tweeted:

Simon Cowell is one of Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People, and in his interview for the TV special, he admits that he once considered hooking up with American Idol and X Factor co-star Paula Abdul!

The two been been working together for nine years, and Simon told Barbara he eventually decided against a workplace romance because he was afraid of the aftermath. "I mean, the truth was, on the first two seasons, we couldn't travel on the same plane together. We really disliked each other that much," he said, boldly proclaiming that they clashed due to "sexual tension on her part." Umm, what!?

Simon also suggests that it was Paula who wanted a relationship with him! "I considered it, but then I thought, 'I don't think the after would be as good as the before.' I'd let her stay for a few hours, but then it would have to be goodnight," he joked.

Wonder what Paula thinks about this!?

Walters chose the Kardashians to be featured on the annual 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011 special.

Kim's 2007 sex tape with R&B star Ray J was on Barbara's list of questions. The exchange went as follows:

Barbara - "So, was it a good thing to have done?"

Kim - "Whatever you do, you might think. I've made mistakes in my life for sure."

Kris - "It was devastating for the whole family. You cry yourself to sleep for a few nights, then you hire an attorney."

Awkward! Then the ABC veteran asked about the family's lack of "talent." Khloe responded: "None of us think we have talent. None of us think we can sing or act or dance."
