It's been a very emotional year for
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong, and now she's finally ready to release her painful untold story.
Taylor has just released the cover for her upcoming
memoir,
Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss and Finding the Courage Within, highlights the domestic abuse she suffered -- photos included -- at the hands of her late husband, Russell Armstrong.
The reality star tells
People on the message of her first book:
"My book takes readers behind the glamour of Beverly Hills to show them the terrible violence I suffered, and the slow and painful process of rebuilding my shattered life. I want readers in abusive relationships to learn from my suffering and use my book to help them find their own courage within."
Armstrong filed from divorce from her late husband in July citing domestic abuse -- he tragically committed suicide just one month later.
The memoir hits shelves on Feb. 7.

Deciding to stay mum on Brooke Mueller's recent drug/assault arrest in Aspen Colorado last weekend, Denise Richards simply smiled as she shopped in Beverly Hills, on Monday.
The
Wild Things star has publicly supported Mueller in the past, telling
Extra in July, "I give Brooke a lot of credit. I know that she's struggling with her addiction and she wants to be the best mom she can be."
The celeb moms may share an ex-husband, Charlie Sheen, but Denise seems more interested in a quiet life raising her three daughters, while Brooke just can't seem to let go of her hard partying ways.
The
troubled mother of two-year-old twins Max and Bob -- who were also in Aspen during the incident -- checked out of her most recent rehab effort in July.
Mueller was released from Pitkin County Jail for suspicion of assault and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, after Sheen allegedly posted $11,000 bail on Sunday.
A hearing is set for Dec. 19.

Hot new couple alert!
He's newly single -- and has a soft sport for brunettes! -- but it was still shocking to see Ashton Kutcher get so cozy with costar Lea Michele on the red carpet, at the premiere of
New Year's Eve in Hollywood, on Monday night.
The adorable pair actually do hook up in the upcoming film, and the
Glee star was overjoyed that part of the job description included kissing Mr. Kutcher.
When the 25-year-old stunner, who looked gorgeous in a silver Valentino gown, was asked what's scarier -- kissing the
Two and a Half Men star or singing in front of thousands, Michele told
Entertainment Tonight: "I mean who wouldn't choose to kiss Ashton?"
New Year's Eve hits theaters December 9.

Spotted: Lindsay Lohan's little sis Ali (er, I guess it's Aliana now!) getting a jolt of caffeine at Coffee Bean before heading to a business meeting in West Hollywood.
Ali recently chatted with
Page Six Magazine about
her family and career aspirations, and not only did she shoot down the
plastic surgery rumors, but she also told the reporter that she looks to Lindsay and their mom Dina for guidance. Interestingly enough, Ali made no mention of her weight (or lack thereof), but given the fact that she signed with Next Model Management back in August, it seems like she's on the right track! But is her scary skinny frame setting a bad example for other teenage girls who look up to her?

Katherine Heigl
and her mom hair were snapped arriving at the nail salon in Silverlake over the weekend, and the starlet smiled for photogs before getting a manicure. Hopefully she wasn't thinking about getting her toes done too -- we doubt she'd want to slip them into her sweater Uggs after a piggie paint job, and it was way too cold to wear those flimsy post-pedicure flip flops!

Lindsay Lohan will NOT be heading to Britain's
Celebrity Big Brother.
Lilo's rep, Steve Honig, tells X17online:
"She is not doing Big Brother; this was a rumor."
According to false online reports, the 25-year-old actress was going to fill the spot formerly held by troubled starlet Tara Reid who left the show earlier this year. Sorry Lilo fans ... the
Mean Girls star won't be living in front of the cameras!
Honig adds:
"She has been diligently going to the morgue and is ahead of her community service schedule. Her issue of Playboy is out in a few weeks and a few movie deals are expected in the next month or so."
Way to stay on track, Linds!

Angelina Jolie is being sued by Croatian journalist James Braddock, who claims her upcoming film,
In the Land of Blood and Honey violates the copyright on his book,
The Soul Shattering.
Braddock is demanding statutory damages plus an injunction against the film's release, and while Jolie may not have knowingly plagiarized the work, according to the lawsuit, one of her producers may have had something to do with the similarities between the two stories.
Braddock claims that after publishing the book in 2007, he was approached by Jolie's producer Edin Sarkic, and the two met to discuss details about the book, "including plot and character development and the story's cultural significance and historical accuracy." According to
THR, the discussions are said to have evolved into the possibility of creating a film adaptation of the book. Both Jolie's film and Braddock's book follow the love story between a female prisoner and a Serbian soldier, and it will be up to a judge to determine "whether the claimed obvious similarities meet the high threshold needed to prove copyright infringement," reports
THR.
Sarkic is named as a co-defendant in the lawsuit, along with GK Films, FilmDistrict, and Scout Film. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 23, so if a judge sides with Braddock, we might not be seeing this on the big screen for a while!
