In a new sneak preview of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Kris Humphries shows off his jerky side as he criticizes his new wife for eating too much cake at their wedding.

In the clip, the couple are seen packing for New York when Kris suddenly scoops Kim up for a cuddle.

But when the basketball player struggles to lift her, he exclaims: "God, you ate a lot of wedding cake!" before tossing her onto the bed.

Kim laughed off the comment, but it obviously upset the reality star, who later said "Stop, you are so forceful," when Kris tried to snatch her camera away.

Kris ironically replied: "Give it to me, you are my wife now, you are my wife. It is going to take a lot to get rid of me."

Meanwhile, various online reports have surfaced claiming Humphries plans to drop his $10 million lawsuit against Kim and the E! network for the way he's been portrayed on Kourtney & Kim Take New York.

Fresh off his win from Dancing With the Stars, J.R. Martinez is letting his feet rest ... however, his fingers will be mighty busy writing a tell-all book!

The Iraq war veteran and actor began writing his tome before the dancing competition began, but now that the show is over, Martinez can get back to work.

His rep tells the NY Post that the book will be "full of things people don't know." Although the book has not yet found a publisher, the interest has grown since his DWTS win, according to the site.

Since 2003, Martinez has undergone 33 surgeries after his Humvee triggered a land mine in Iraq and he suffered severe burns over most of his body.

Martinez will be the Grand Marshal for the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade taking place on January 2.

Following in the footsteps of her American Idol colleague Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina forget the words to a portion of the "Star Spangled Banner" while performing at the Detroit Lions/Green Bay Packers game. However, the blonde cutie recovered well.

After singing the line, "What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's ...," the country star went silent for a few notes ... but then picked back up. Whew!

As for Scotty McCreery's "Star Spangled" mess-up, it happened at the World Series back in October. Even Christina Aguilera botched the lyrics to the song at the Super Bowl.
