Kicking off the 39th Annual American Music Awards with an electrifying performance of "Turn Me On" and "Super Bass", Nicki Minaj got the show off to a rockin' start, with the help of American Idol alum, David Guetta.

The pink haired rapper later ditched her metal wear for a bright green ball gown skirt and black lace bodice to pick up her awards for Favorite Hip Hop Artist and Favorite Hip Hop Album.

Also in attendance? Little Sophia Grace Brownlee, the 8-year-old who received worldwide attention after taping her own cover of “Super Bass,” and posting it on YouTube. The budding rapper was there to interview the stars for The Ellen DeGeneres Show!

Couple of the moment Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez stunned on the American Music Awards red carpet tonight. In fact, Justin's slick hairdo was more talked about than Selena's sexy cut-out gown!

The usually-fringed teen heartthrob broke out the gel and the comb, parted his hair on the side and glued it all down. Hey, he looks quite debonair!

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Selena looked amazing in a pewter Giorgio Armani gown. What a hot couple!

Big winner of the night Taylor Swift wowed on the America Music Awards red carpet in a gorgeous Reem Acra gown that was dripping with gold sequins, and perfectly accentuated her natural beauty.

The 21-year-old country songstress nabbed three huge honors at tonight's show including, Country Album of the year for “Speak Now”, Country Female Artist of the Year, and the biggest award of the night: Artist of the Year.

Swift told the audience after winning the Favorite Country Album honor: "This is crazy! I ended up writing the record by myself, so the fact that you would honor it this way, you have no idea what this means to me."

Congrats Taylor!

We thought it wouldn't happen ... Adam Lambert was BACK at the AMA's tonight after his controversial 2009 performance had reportedly had him banned from the show for life!

Turns out, the media had it wrong. After Lambert kissed his male bass player -- a move that was unscripted, said producers -- during his 2009 performance, ABC received more than 1500 calls from unhappy parents and conservative groups spoke out.

Meanwhile, the show's executive producer, Larry Klein, recently told The Hollywood Reporter, Lambert "was never banned from the show."

Klein went on to say: "That thing got so out of control and was just so out of left field. The kiss wasn't in the script. Did Adam rehearse it on his own and not tell us? I have no idea ... Adam was performing on a stage. Did he get carried away? Absolutely. Was he regretful afterward? Of course he was, but it's over. ABC never banned him and Dick Clark Productions never would."

Not one to wisk down the red carpet without being noticed, Adam spiked his hair as high as it's ever been, donned some sparkly silver pants and a vest, and strutted with the best of 'em, with boyfriend, Sauli Koskinen by his side.

She may have been voted off Dancing With the Stars, but Kristin Cavallari's not finished with the show yet! The Hills star hit the studio Saturday to get in some practice before Tuesday's big finale during which the winner of this season's competition will be announced.

Producers are keeping the last show's performances under tight wraps but we can assume KC will be back with her old partner Mark Ballas. Despite rumors of the pair getting cozy off-set during their time on the show, it was Cavallari's recently-reported fling with Scott Disick that really made headlines.

Kristin has denied reports she hooked up with Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend and baby daddy in Vegas in 2009 while he was supposed on "a break" from Ms. Kardashian. And now the dancing reality star is back together with her former fiance, NFL star Jay Cutler. So confusing!

What doesn't confuse us about Kristin is how good she looks in those skimpy DWTS costumes. We don't care how well she performs, we can't wait to see her bod!

It's so nice to have the whole family together! Now that baby Haven is three month's old, mom Jessica Alba and dad Cash Warren can finally bring her to the park with three-year-old Honor.

You can't accuse this Hollywood couple of not being hands-on parents. They're always together and never a nanny in sight (not that there's anything wrong with a little help!).

And Alba's still able to balance work with play ... she voiced the lead character in the upcoming Escape From Planet Earth due out early next year.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odem showed a united front Saturday night after dining at gourmet Mexican restaurant The Red O in West Hollywood.

Amid sister Kim's marriage breakup and the ensuing controversy over the "reality," or lack thereof, of the reality TV family's lives, Khloe and Lamar appear to be the only real thing about the Kardashian clan.

An X17 Poll shows our readers are sick of the Kardashian drama ... we asked if you thought Kardashian fans would stick by Kim through her marital trouble and an overwhelming 44% (just under 2000 voters) said "The thought of [Kim] makes me sick." Uh oh ... Meanwhile, only 13% of you (550 voters) said "... people will continue rooting for her."

So is the Kardashian family franchise in jeopardy? Will the endorsements and clothing lines dry up? Stay tuned ...

It must be serious! David Arquette introduced his new girlfriend Christina McLarty to daughter Coco months ago and the trio already looks like a family!

The group lunched at a Malibu park Saturday and our photographer tells us: "They all looked so relaxed and happy. Coco seems to have really taken to Christina. The two girls were lunching and playing around together. The seem like good friends."

Arquette and McLarty were first spotted together at Comic Con in San Diego in late July and David told Howard Stern during a radio interview in late September, McLarty is "adorable." According to Arquette, the two met at a "boat party."

Arquette has been separated from wife Courteney Cox for just over a year, though neither has yet filed for divorce. Still, if things continue to be serious with McLarty, perhaps David will want to make the break with Cox official. McLarty ended her marriage to Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis in 2010, after only two months with the notorious bad boy. Maybe she's ready to settle down with someone a little more stable now?
