Kim Kardashian will be leaving Australia early due to pressures surrounding her divorce announcement.

The 31-year-old reality star released the following statement:

"I am very disappointed that I am unable to attend the Swisse marquee but I hope to come back and work with the Swisse team at another point in time."

Kardashian was reportedly going to earn $150,000 for an appearance this Saturday at the Melbourne Cup Carnival for Swisse vitamins marquee.

A rep for the company said the following after learning of Kim's cancellation:

"All indications were that Kim wanted to fulfill all of her commitments once she landed in Australia but has obviously changed her mind given her very difficult personal challenges at the moment."

It seems as though art does imitate life, as Lady Gaga has fallen for Vampire Diaries hunk Taylor Kinney, the actor who plays her love interest in the music video for "You and I".

Gaga and Kinney met back in July when she shot the vid, and though the song is about her longtime love (and now ex-boyfriend) Luc Carl, it seems like she's ready to move on. "They're hooking up and getting to know each other," a source close to the singer tells Us Weekly.

So just how serious is this new romance? "Gaga can't be too committed because she works 24/7," the insider reveals. "But she thinks he's supercute!" Maybe if he's lucky she'll pen a song about him?
