After Fox producers cut his joke about News Corp. exec Rupert Murdoch, Alec Baldwin is canceling his scheduled appearance at the 2011 Emmy Awards.

In the skit, Baldwin plays a fictional TV studio president, and the scene in question reportedly had the 30 Rock star asking whether Mr. Murdoch was listening in on a phone call, which pokes fun at the hacking scandal that tarnished News Corp.'s reputation earlier this year. So what's the big deal? Turns out Fox is owned by News Corp, and a spokesperson for the network tells the Wall Street Journal that the segment was not cut because it mentioned Murdoch, but rather because they take the hacking scandal seriously and found the comment to be in “poor taste.”

Leonard Nimoy will replace Baldwin in the segment, and a source close to the actor says he canceled his appearance because he felt that cutting the joke would disrupt the comedic timing of the whole skit. “I did a short Emmy pretape a few days ago. Now they tell me News Corp cut the funniest line,” Baldwin tweeted last week.

Paris Tweeted, "Had a fun dinner at Boa with @NickyHilton and friends. Love my girls! They are the best! :)"

The girls all looked stunning in their matching black outfits. A source close to Petra tells X17online:

"Paris and Nicky are her closest girlfriends in LA. She trusts them because they've all come from the same background. The girls have so much in common and love spending time with each other."

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian left New York (above) to head back to Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Rosie O'Donnell is settling into Chi-town for her new talk show gig on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network -- The Rosie Show.

Oprah's famous Harpo studios in Chicago has put O'Donnell's talk show on its sign, and now, Rosie's got another new house to live in!

She bought a 6,000-square-foot townhouse, listed at $2.5 million, on the city's north side. She'll be living, fittingly, near Boystown -- Chi-town's gay area.

The three-story home has five bedrooms, five full and two half-bathrooms, a fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows, steam shower, home theater, a heated, three-car garage (for those nasty Chicago winters) and a 2,000-square-foot rooftop terrace.
