LeAnn Rimes had triple the fun on her 29th birthday -- she wore three bikinis in one day!

The singer and her hubby Eddie Cibrian took a room Sunday at the Malibu Beach Inn as a bday celebration and mini getaway combo now that Eddie is back from filming The Playboy Club in Chicago.

A day of beach frolicking does a girl good - LeAnn couldn't stop smiling and showing off her tanned bod. Then again, she is known for her love of bikinis! LeAnn recently did an interview with Mikoh Swimwear (one of her fave bathing suit lines) and admitted that she likes to show off her bronzed skin, saying, "Tan lines all the way."

If you have the bikinis, might as well rock 'em!

Hurricane Irene, who? Despite massive power outages on the East Coast, MTV came out winning.

The 2011 Video Music Awards pulled in record-breaking numbers: 12.4 million viewers tuned in, making it the most watched MTV telecast in the network's twenty year history.

The show appeared to be aided by Beyoncé's pregnancy announcement - did you see that adorable baby bump rub at the end of her performance?! - and Lady Gaga's drag alter ego Jo Calderone. The 2011 VMAs were up 9% in total viewers and 8% in the 12-34 age range from last year's show.

Not only that, Sunday night's show was also the number one cable telecast of 2011. Not too shabby!

Looks like MTV is back in the music business - at least for now.

Reese Witherspoon is in the market for a Malibu beach home ... and she's looking for only the best! The actress/producer checked out Brad Pitt's 4-bedroom mansion on Sunday. Asking price, $13.75 million!

Pitt bought the 4,088-sq ft estate in 2005 for $8.4 million.

X17online can report exclusively that Reese, husband Jim Toth and kids Ava and Deacon visited five houses on Sunday, but the Pitt palace was Witherspoon's favorite. The group stayed at all the other homes for around 15 minutes, but when they arrived at Brad's former pad, the Oscar-winning actress "seemed extremely interested and visited the house for close to 45 minutes," our photographer tells us.

The 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom mid-century modern home features bamboo flooring, glass walls overlooking the ocean, three fireplaces, a tennis court and beach access to a private cove. As for the views, the pad faces the Pacific and Point Mugu State Park. Sounds divine!

Justin Bieber posted this pic to his Twitter account from the VMAs Sunday night. Maybe Brand and wife Perry were using 17-year-old Bieber to practice ... Perry Tweeted, "@Beyonce me & @rustyrockets are avail to baby sit anytime! We'z real responsible...ish :P."

Bieber Tweeted an extended "thank you" speech after winning Best Male Video. He said:

"also thank u to my family, my friends, my team, and my FANS!! i got so much more to say now that it is over. haha. blanked out up there"

Going shopping for school supplies can be quite a task ... even for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's son Patrick Schwarzenegger.

While riding around a Staples store in a red shopping cart, the 17-year-old aspiring model looked exhausted while his mom chatted away on her cell phone. Whew ... good thing Maria is a strong woman!

Patrick Tweeted the above photo and the following: "Back to school shopping. I'm to tired so @mariashriver is pushing me around."

The teen has visited Harvard, Stanford, USC, Penn State and Georgetown, but he has yet to decide which University to attend.

Jay-Z might not have been a big fan of Chris Brown's VMA performance, but Lindsay Lohan apparently was!

Lohan did not attend the VMAs, but she did watch from home. She Tweeted on Sunday night, "@ChrisBrown killed it. #MTVVMAs."

And it seems Lindsay, 25, couldn't get Chris, 22, out of her head! A little after midnight, she Tweeted, "@chrisbrown wanna meet?"

Brown, who was at Lil Wayne's album release party, never responded.

There's one thing we do know about this potential union: two troubled stars don't make a right!

Demi Lovato is comfortable with her weight ... no matter what people may think.

After receiving criticism about her curvier figure at Sunday's MTV VMA Awards, the 19-year-old Disney starlet, wearing a low cut Mandalay mini, Tweeted:

"Guess what? I'm healthy and happy, and if you're hating on my weight you obviously aren't."

Lovato checked out of rehab earlier this year after suffering from an eating disorder.

Twilight's Ashley Greeen Tweeted that Lovato was "beautiful" in support of the "Skyscraper" singer.

Lovato responded with the following: "This is why you're my friend. Thank you girl."

Beyoncé announced her pregnancy at Sunday night's Video Music Awards in a big way -- by holding her pregnant belly on the black carpet and during her performance.

However, Deadline is reporting that the pregnancy will affect another performance: B's starring role in the Clint Eastwood-directed movie A Star Is Born.

The musical, a re-make, was supposed to start shooting in February 2012. It would be the first time Beyoncé carried a movie on her own as the female lead (and maybe get her that Oscar she's been wanting so badly!).

But now the studio might push the flick back. Changing the dates, Deadline says, will also give Eastwood time to find a suitable leading man. Eastwood wants Leonardo DiCaprio but other names thrown around have included Will Smith and even Beyoncé's hubby Jay-Z!

We guess they could just bring the baby on set!
