Russell Armstrong, husband of Taylor Armstrong of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, committed suicide Monday night, the Los Angeles Police Department confirms.

According to online reports, the Los Angeles City Fire Department was called to Russell's home by a roommate, and Russell was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 47 years old.

Taylor and Russell's tumultuous relationship had been chronicled on Season One of the Bravo show (right, courtesy of Bravo).

She then filed for divorce last month, claiming that Russell had physically abused her. Russell confirmed that he had pushed Taylor during arguments and raised his voice, saying the show had pushed the couple "to the limit."

The couple has a daughter, Kennedy, 5.

Season 2 of the show premieres Sept. 5. Promos have shown a distressed Taylor talking about her marriage.

The couple was also the subject of a recent $1.5 million lawsuit for breach of contract.

Adam Levine is embracing his sexuality ... even if fans think he's gay.

The 32-year-old rocker admits to Out magazine:

"If people didn't think there was a small chance I was gay, then I wouldn't be doing my job very well. I wouldn't be the front man of a band if that question hadn't come up at some point."

Levine says that some of the greatest rockers have had their sexuality questions including Mick Jagger and David Bowie. Although he says there's "no way to hide my straightness," the Voice judge does say he can admit if a guy looks good. Adam adds:

"I'm extremely comfortable in my sexuality. So I can think, 'Oh, that's a good-looking dude.' Acknowledging that someone's attractive and wanting to [sleep with them] are two different things."

The Sonny With a Chance star received a standing ovation when she appeared onstage at the VH1 Do Something Awards last Sunday, with one fan shouting "You're an inspiration, Demi!" as she took the stage.

The singer performed her new hit single Skyscraper, and this performance (airing on Thursday) will be the first time fans get to see the former Disney star singing on stage since she left rehab in January.

Lovato also took home the award for Charity Song for her Make a Wave duet with ex-bf Joe Jonas -- we can't wait to see that awkward moment!

The LA Ink star looked slim and sexy in tight black jeans, bright yellow tee and some funky red shades while leaving a lunch at Urth Café in West Hollywood, on Monday.

The reality star's ex-fiancé has been featured constantly on the latest season of her TLC show, and while the couple broke up due to "distance" issues, Von D confessed on LA Ink's latest episode, “Love conquers all and distance is nothing to make it work”.

Alyssa Milano loves baseball so much she threw her own baby shower at LA's Dodger Stadium, on Sunday. The proud mommy-to-be shared an adorable pic from her party, holding up her fave gift -- a little custom-made Dodgers jersey.

The Who's The Boss star later thanked her 35 invited guests, which included Holly Robinson Peete and Colin Hanks, via Twitter, "for making this day so special. We made memories and I'm so grateful."

Nicole Richie and Kim Kardashian are total gym rats!

Both hit the gym in Studio City in all black -- black tanks, black leggings, black shoes, black sunglasses, black bags -- what are you two so down about??

Still, Kim seems fairly positive about her workout regime. She Tweeted:

"Rise & grind!!!! Early morning workout time! ... Its that Armenian work ethic! ARMO BEASTMODE BABY!"

Superior Court Judge Jessica Silvers ruled Monday that James Rainford must stand trial on felony counts of stalking. He was arrested for loitering outside Paris' Malibu home on July 4.

During his 90-minute hearing, for which Hilton wasn't present, Silvers told Rainford:

"It's very clear from all these incidents that you are obsessed with Paris Hilton. This is more personal, and it is scary."

The July incident was the second arrest for Rainford this year - he was convicted of battery after hitting Paris' ex Cy Waits outside of a courthouse in April. He pleaded not guilty to those charges and was given an eight month jail sentence, for which he served one month, and three years' probation.

No trial date has been set yet, but his arraignment is scheduled for August 29. He pleaded not guilty to this latest case and remains behind bars.
