An autopsy conducted on Amy Winehouse's body in London Monday morning revealed that the singer may have "died a violent or unnatural death."

The coroner has labeled the case a Section 20 postmortem, which means "there is reasonable cause to suspect that a person has died a violent or unnatural death or in any other way which would require an inquest."

At the scene of Winehouse's death, police determined it "non-suspicious," but the coroner's findings indicate that a more lengthy investigation will now begin.

Toxicology was done but results are not yet available.

The singer's body was identified by her parents early Monday morning and will be released to her family soon so that they can prepare a memorial service. Winehouse's family released a statement saying they have "been left bereft" by her death (see video below).

A shrine from fans can be seen at her London home -- candles, photographs, flowers and more adorn the street.

Winehouse, who had a long history of drug and alcohol abuse, was found dead "alone in her bed" by one of her security staff, according to her rep, on Saturday morning. She was 27.

The entertainment industry has commented heavily on her death, especially via Twitter. Winehouse's friend Russell Brand, a former addict, wrote about the loss, demanding that addiction be taken more seriously.

"Paper Planes" singer M.I.A. has already released a tribute song to singer Amy Winehouse, who died Saturday.

The track, "27," refers to the age at which Winehouse died. Discussion of how Winehouse has joined the "27 club," a group of artists who died at 27 after dealing with drug/alcohol abuse, including Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison, has been rampant since her death.

M.I.A. posted the song (below) on Twitter, saying that she had already recorded the song prior to Winehouse's death but had never released it. "R.I.P A.M.Y.," she wrote.

Selena Gomez celebrated her birthday weekend (her 19th b-day was Friday) with a concert at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa, Calif., on Sunday, where bf Justin Bieber made a surprise appearance ... and picked a strange song to sing.

Bieber, 17, exchanged a semi-awkward hug with Gomez as he walked on stage, then sang (a little pitch-ily ... hitting puberty, anyone?) Justin Timberlake's hit "Cry Me A River."

We can't figure it out ... why would Justin go to his girlfriend's concert to sing a song that JT sang about breaking up with his ex, Britney Spears? Especially when those two were in a teenage relationship similar to Justin and Selena's ...

But, Bieber made up for it with some sweet Tweets. He Tweeted to Selena after the show, “U did great tonight. proud of u," and also wrote, "Had a #greatnight and surprised the people. felt good to be on stage. nothing is changing that. ... ”

Again, we're a little confused ... why would anything change that, JB?

While the autopsy on Amy Winehouse is currently underway, more details are emerging from her death over the weekend. According to friends of the 27-year-old singer, a security guard is the one who found her dead on Saturday at 4pm.

Chris Goodman, Amy Winehouse's rep, released the following statement:

"She was in her bedroom after saying she wanted to sleep and when he went to wake her he found she wasn't breathing. He called the emergency services straight away. He was very shocked. At this stage no one knows how she died. She died alone in bed."

Various online reports claim the "Rehab" singer was visited by her doctor on Friday night for a routine checkup. There were also no drugs and no paraphernalia found in Winehouse’s London home, according to People. Official toxicology results won't be available until October.

Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron star in the upcoming dark re-telling (is there anything that's not getting a "dark re-telling" nowadays?) of Snow White -- Snow White and the Huntsman, and the first pics of them as their characters have been revealed!

Hemsworth, 27, plays the Huntsman, and newcomer Sam Claflin, 25, plays the prince.

The sexy Brit Claflin starred in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, but hasn't been seen in much else -- this could be his big breakout role!

Actually, we think he looks a lot like James Franco in his pic (right).

And, while this movie is set to start filming in August, Hollywood is abuzz with the fact that a rival Snow White movie is being made simultaneously. That one stars Julia Roberts as the Queen and Lily Collins (The Blind Side) as Snow White.
