Earlier this year West sat down for an intimate interview with GQ for their May issue and the rapper opened up on his struggles with alcohol dependence, West said, "I haven't had a drink since I realized I needed to take it day by day, but I never owned up, or was even told, 'Hey, you're a functioning alcoholic. People have called me a crazy person, people have called me everything ... but not a functioning alcoholic."

The Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott just launched a brand new show on HGTV, Celebrity IOU, and scored themselves a VERY special guest for their premiere episode -- Brad Pitt! The new series has been years in the making will allow celebrities "to give the gift of home to the special people who have touched their lives". Stars making an appearance this season include, Jeremy Renner, Michael Bublé, Melissa McCarthy, Rebel Wilson, and Viola Davis. Now that's an A-list lineup!


In the series premiere, Pitt makes his HGTV debut as he works alongside the Scott brothers to renovate the guesthouse of Jean Black, a longtime friend and Hollywood makeup artist whom he considers "family". The two-time Oscar winner took it upon himself to surprise his pal with a special renovation while she's out of town, and he's not afraid of getting down and dirty in the process.


Pitt didn't just stand back and watch, the star was seen knocking down walls and putting his muscles to use in order to make the dream a reality. When the renovation was complete, Pitt couldn't fight the emotion and shed a few tears of joy when revealing the special surprise to his pal.

Pitt seemed to have an absolutely blast on the show and the Scott brothers had nothing but praise following their interaction. Jonathan stated, "Brad… I was blown away! Drew and I were both surprised." The brothers went on to marvel at how down to earth they found the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star, adding, "He wanted everybody to feel like he was spending some time getting to know them and at the very end he remembered every single person’s name on the production crew and on the construction crew. He remembered everybody and wanted to make sure that they knew how grateful he was for what was happening. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word."


Pitt later made an appearance on Good Morning America and discussed his experience on the show. The actor stated, "It's fantastic! I've been waiting so long to see something like this happen to that dump."

A change of scenery isn't always easy, especially if you're accustomed to a posh, royalty-driven lifestyle! Prince Harry shocked the family when he and wife Meghan Markle announced they would be stepping back from their royal duties in exchange for a new life in North America with their new baby boy, Archie.


Just months after making the move from the UK, it's been revealed the Duke of Sussex is encountering his share of struggles when coping with his new life in America. The couple originally landed in Vancouver, Canada before making the move to Los Angeles so Markle could resume her acting career. The couple have even joined forces with a new team of agents and managers as they prepare for their new showbiz lifestyle.


During an interview with Radio Times, Harry's good pal Dr. Jane Goodall spilled the beans and disclosed how the lifestyle change has been weighing heavily on the the 35-year-old prince. Goodall stated, "I don’t know how his career is going to map out, but yes, I’ve been in touch, though I think he’s finding life a bit challenging just now."


The primatologist also hinted at the controlling nature of Markle being a contributing factor to Harry's unhappiness. With Harry being a hunter for much of his life, Goodall believes he will soon be forced to give up the hobby due to Markle's unsavory attitude to his favorite pastime, "Meghan doesn’t like hunting, so I suspect that is over for him." Wow! No wonder He's having an arduous time adjusting to his new life!


Prince Harry and Markle's exit from the royal family, dubbed Megxit, was finalized on March 31 and Goodall stated his plans of leaving were in the making dating back to July 2019. During her visit to see the royal family, Goodall practiced teaching Archie, who was a newborn at the time, how to to the Queen's wave, telling Harry, "We'll have to learn this." Harry quickly retorted, "No, he's not growing up like that." The trip was very indicative as to how the next several months would develop.

In addition to the difficulties adjusting to life in SoCal, it's been reported Harry was stricken with "overwhelmed with feelings of guilt for not being closer to home" when his father Prince Charles, tested positive for COVID-19. Thankfully, the Prince has since recovered from the virus.
