Brad Pitt once said that he and partner Angelina Jolie would only get married when all Americans had the right to marry, and he seems to be standing strong by that declaration.

In a statement to People, Pitt comments on New York's decision to legalize same-sex marriage:

"It is encouraging that New York has joined the movement to grant equal marriage rights to its citizens. But it is each American's Constitutional right to marry the person they love, no matter what state they inhabit. No state should decide who can marry and who cannot. Thanks to the tireless work of so many, someday soon this discrimination will end and every American will be able to enjoy their equal right to marriage."

However, rumors are that Pitt, 47, and Jolie, 36, have been remodeling their French chateau home with plans to marry there in the fall. At the Cannes Film Festival in May, Pitt said, "The kids ask about marriage ... It's meaning more and more to them. So it's something we've got to look at." He and Jolie have six children.

Nicki Minaj's cousin, Nicholas Telemaque, was murdered near his home in Brooklyn, New York on Monday. Minaj took to Twitter on Tuesday to express her pain, saying, "Lived in Brooklyn his whole life. My precious cousin. My baby. Killed last nite."

Minaj has kept quiet on the social networking site since, but now she's receiving support from Britney Spears, whom Minaj is opening for on her Femme Fetale tour. Said Spears:

"Please keep @NickiMinaj & her family in your prayers ... keep up the amazing love and support you guys have for her."

Telemaque, 27, was shot in the chest after leaving a nightclub. No arrests have been made thus far.

Jessica Alba is the cover girl for the latest issue of Latina magazine, and she looks amazing!

Alba proudly shows off her baby bump for the pic. She says of dressing while pregnant:

“If you are sporting a pregnant belly, it’s better to show it than to hide it. The more figure-forming your clothes, even though you have more curves, the better. I like long, thin sweaters that kind of hide my hips and my booty, so there’s not a huge emphasis on how big they’re getting.”

Alba says that kind of confidence comes with age ... that's she's more secure now than she was as a younger woman.

This is baby No. 2 for Alba, who has daughter Honor with hubby Cash Warren. As for whether she'll ever show off a pregnant belly for a third time, Alba said with a wink: “I just have to feel it out. See how my 30s treat me. I just try to live in the moment.”

Pia Toscano, 22, a fav female on the last season of American Idol, has signed a deal with Interscope Records. Her first single, "This Time," drops July 12 with her album debuting later this year.

"This is a dream come true," Toscano said in a statement. She'll work with famed producer Rodney Jerkins, who says fans can expect a a "diva" sound from Toscano. "This Time" was written by Esther Dean, the scribe behind Rihanna's "S&M," "Rude Boy" and "What's My Name."

Pia joins a list of singers who lost in Idol but ended up successful anyway, including Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson and more. Congrats!

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are seeing each other again, UsWeekly reports.

The two broke up in March after four years together. But now, Timberlake, 30, and Biel, 29, have supposedly been seeing each other again, but trying to keep things quiet. Says a source:

"They have been talking the whole time and decided to give it another shot. Jessica really wanted to get back together with him and Justin realized single life is not what it's cracked up to be."

The source says the two are now taking things slowly. On July 3, the pair were seen sharing pork tacos at the Black Hoof restaurant in Toronto.

At the time of the break up, reports were that Biel threw Timberlake a surprise birthday party and gave an emotional speech, which made him uncomfortable. Rumors of a split started when he was accompanied by his mother to the Oscars, while Biel was nowhere in sight.

Nicole Scherzinger is about to take the U.S. by storm as a judge on the American version of X Factor, and now she's sweeping the U.K., too!

The former Pussycat Doll is on the cover of the August issue of the U.K. edition of InStyle, and all we can say is, "Meow!" In the spread, Nicole does the splits vertically ... it's easy to see how the 33-year-old won Dancing With the Stars!

Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker each earned about $30 million in 2010, according to Forbes, putting them at the top of the list of highest-earning actresses in Hollywood.

Jolie, 36, struck gold with big-budget films Salt and The Tourist. The latter was helped by overseas box office sales, where it made $280 million.

Parker, 46, is cashing in on a variety of ventures, including the Sex and the City franchise. The show, which she also produced, is airing in syndication, and Sex and the City 2 grossed $290 million in 2010. Her fragrance line also earned SJP about $18 million.

But some other A-list ladies weren't far behind -- Jennifer Aniston, 42, and Reese Witherspoon, 35, each earned $28 million.

Natalie Portman, 30, has released the name she gave to her baby boy!

Portman and fiance Benjamin Millepied named their son Alef. Portman is a native Israeli (her birth name is Natalie Hershlag), and 'Alef' is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The baby was born in mid-June.

The news was reported by Israel Hayom, which says the name was revealed by Israeli TV show Good Evening with Guy Pines.

Portman and Millepied met on the set of Black Swan, where he was the choreographer. Looks like little Alef will be quite the dancer!

Alef's last name is Portman-Millepied. Congrats to the adorable family!
