There wasn't a shortage of sexy ladies at Monday night's Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in New York City!

The star-studded event, held at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, honored today's biggest fashion designers. Can we ever have too much fashion? We think not.

Our favorite fashionistas are in the photos above. Actress Naomi Watts stunned in a gold embroidered silk shift dress by Calvin Klein. Alessandra Ambrosio dazzled in a sexy red gown by Prabal Gurung.

Amber Heard chose Cynthia Rowley while Whitney Port glammed it up in Pamella Roland.

Real Housewives of New York's Kelly Killoren-Bensimon wore a sheer dress from Azzedine Alaia ... but not sure about those flip flops. Supermodel Karolina Kurkova worked it in a Diane von Furstenberg green, shimmery jumpsuit.

Charlie Sheen is not eligible for an Emmy for Two and a Half Men this year because he failed to submit himself for consideration on time.

It's up to the individual actor to submit themselves for consideration, but Sheen blew several deadlines. First, he was supposed to submit by April 29. When he didn't, the academy gave him a special break.

Then, the actor missed the bottom line deadline -- May 25, which is the date by which all other entrants were already proofreading their final entries in case they won!

Men co-stars Jon Cryer, Angus T. Young, Holland Taylor, guest star Jane Lynch and others submitted themselves. But Warner Bros., which fired Sheen in April and has since replaced him with Ashton Kutcher, did not submit the show itself.

Sheen is a four-time Emmy nominee for his role on the sitcom, but has never won -- and it looks like he never will!

Why do you think Charlie didn't submit himself? It seems arrogant to us that he blew all those special deadlines!!

Looks like Slim Shady is back to his old tricks! On Eminem's upcoming track, "A Kiss," the rapper slams today's hottest artists ... including Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry.

In the new song, filled with foul language, Eminem, 38, says:

“Aw, hell Shady, he’ll tell her like it is. So tell Katy Perry he’s on her tail, he’s tailgating. These bells are my mating call, and I’m here, bell’s waiting.

And tell Lady Gaga she can quit her job at the post office. She’s still a male lady. Wouldn’t f**k her with her d**k. You heard it, the verdict’s in. He’s allergic to divas, he’d take meat cleavers to ‘em. He don’t give a damn about Bieber doin’.”

"A Kiss" is performed by Bad Meets Evil which is Eminem teaming up with rapper Royce Da 5'9".

Angelina Jolie has plans to reprise her role as Evelyn Salt in a sequel to her action flick Salt, according to Deadline.

Sony Pictures has hired Kurt Wimmer to write the sequel with Angelina as the star.

In the movie, Jolie plays a CIA agent who is outed as a Russian spy.

Jolie is said to be behind the project "if it comes together right." The original movie grossed more than $300 million worldwide at the box office.

On Monday Spears released the cover art for her new single, I Wanna Go which featured the pop star looking sexy in a midriff-bearing Mickey Mouse tee.

Miss Spears will be heading cross-country with her opening act, Nicki Minaj, on June 16, but the singer has expressed interest in performing with another flashy singer -- Lady Gaga.

Apparently the pop princesses is "obsessed" with the Lady, and Gaga actually penned three songs for Spears before she became famous. We think a collaboration between the pair would be incredible!

Jennifer Aniston looked so happy to embrace a buddy as she rolled up to attend a meeting at Universal Studios on Monday.

And it's no wonder she's got such a spring in her step; the Just Go With It star was spotted just the night before getting cozy with her new BF, Justin Theroux, at an MTV Movie Awards after-party.

The Wanderlust costars/lovebirds arrived at L.A.’s Soho House for the celebration, and reportedly couldn't keep their hands off each other the entire night.

Never one to sacrifice fashion for comfort, Lady Gaga stepped out at the CFDA Fashion Awards in 12-inch black platforms, and she had two bodyguards helping her walk. Amazing!

The Lady was honored last night with the prestigious Fashion Icon Award, and she expressed to the audience after winning, “I can’t believe I’m allowed in here. Thank you for making me feel like a star before I was one!”

The Born This Way singer also revealed to the audience when it was announced she would be honored with the Icon award, she mistakenly sent a text to Vogue's editor in chief, Anna Wintour, saying: “Yes, bitch, we did it!”

The Vogue cover girl concluded, “I got a reply that said, ‘How lovely.”

Whoops!

The 10th Annual Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards were held Monday night at NYC's Lincoln Center, and the stars came out to support their favorite designers, dressing in some of their most beautiful creations.

New mom Miranda Kerr stunned in a sexy black cut-out number proving that mothers can be super sexy!



Meanwhile, mom-to-be (for the second time) Jessica Alba went for a bright color-block look.



And Twilight star Ashley Greene opted for a bright color as well, brightening the red carpet in hot pink.



And Alessandra Ambrosio showed those boring street cops how to do it! A woman in uniform ... ha! A woman in a hot red dress that exposes a perfect body, now THAT's how to do it!

We have to give major props to actresses-turned fashion designers Ashley & Mary-Kate Olsen, who were nominated for a Swarovski Award for Womenswear this year. The award went to dynamic design team Proenza Schouler, but it's an honor to be the only celebrity designer nominated!
