Lindsay turned herself over to authorities today and began serving out her 35-day house arrest sentence ... but what does that actually mean for Lohan?

L.A. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said today in a statement:

"She is now confined to the interior premises of her home at all times."

Translation: No clubbing, shopping, dining out for at least two weeks.

Whitmore also explained Lohan was granted house arrest due to good behavior but also because of overcrowding at the jails and budgetary constraints. And her ankle bracelet will not be detecting drugs or alcohol. Whew!

If Lohan behaves herself and stays at home, her sentence could be reduced from 35 days to just 14. If police are alerted to any movement outside the luxurious Venice Beach pad, via her tracking device, the sentence could be extended or she may even be required to do real jail time.

Whitmore declined to say whether any exceptions would allow Lohan to leave her home, but she might be granted leave for nearby work-related appointments. The actress is gearing up to star as the wife of John Gotti, Jr. in a biopic of the infamous New York mob family, but shooting is set to start later this year so it isn't expected to interfere with Lindsay's time at home.

Lohan will still be required to perform 480 hours of community service, but the judge forbade the actress from doing so while under house arrest.

Years before Kara DioGuardi joined the panel of American Idol judges, she and Paula Abdul scored quite "high" concerning their own personal history.

In an interview on Wednesday's Lopez Tonight, the Grammy-winning songwriter told late-night host George Lopez, while staying at Paula Abdul's house she ate pot-laced brownies in Abdul's fridge, which landed her in ER.

The ex-Idol judge explained the incident:

"The maid at the time found some brownies in the freezer and put them in the refrigerator ... I hadn't really eaten much that night ... six hours later I was like, 'What's going on?"

DioGuardi goes on, insisting she was unaware the brownies were laced with pot. The former Idol judge claimed she doesn't smoke pot, but consumed at least six of the bite size brownies.

"I fell out of bed, on the floor ... and the ambulance comes, and this guy is like, 'This b*tch is high as a kite! This b*tch is high as a kite!'"

The 40-year-old spent the next three days on bed rest hallucinating, and was even on an IV. Yikes!

But DioGuardi did not have any resentment toward Abdul, because she claims the brownies weren't Abdul's. It was suspected someone had left them at her home after a party.

And we're sure a huge briefcase of cocaine at Charlie Sheen's house was also left by a past party-goer!

The Limitless star recently lost his father, and he opened up about having his mom come and stay with him in LA. Cooper revealed, “I love having her. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Not the most shocking news we've heard, but interesting nonetheless.

Courtney Love gave a revealing interview on The Fix, and the Hole singer claims she shot up heroin at a mid-90s bash at Charlie Sheen's mansion, back in the day.

Loved revealed of the day she was taken to a drug-infused Sheen party:

"A Hollywood-connected beau took me to this star-studded party at Charlie Sheen's house in Malibu. Tom Cruise was there, and Madonna ... [singer Jennifer Linch] convinced me to shoot up. 'Come on, everyone's doing it.' So that's when my whole heroin drama began."

Kurt Cobain's widow says she finally quit heroin in 1996, "except for one incident in July 2005, where I shot myself up on purpose to kill myself," she explains. Apparently the singer threatened to jump off singer Lenny Kravitz's roof, until NYPD arrived on the scene. Whew!

Now Love says she's totally drug-free, "more or less", but she still has a glass of rose every now and again.
