X17online was inside the airport courthouse where Lindsay Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, entered a no contest plea to her client's misdemeanor theft charge. The 24-year-old starlet was not present.

The judge discussed that Lindsay needed to take a "shoplifter's alternative" program ... and that she needed to complete psychological counseling.

The court will not allow Lindsay to leave her house arrest to perform her community service. Lindsay has been placed on three years probation.

She is to serve 120 days in county jail (she already has credit for two days), perform 480 hours of community service and stay 100 feet from Kamofie and Company (jewelry store in Venice).

Lindsay is on formal probation until November 11, 2011. A progress report has been scheduled for July 21, 2011. Lindsay is to surrender to the woman's jail on or before June 17, 2011.

Newly engaged Kristin Cavallari had a lover's quarrel at STK restaurant in West Hollywood Tuesday night. She and NFL quarterback fiance Jay Cutler left the restaurant separately, both looking forlorn.

Cavallari, 24, and Cutler, 28, got engaged at the end of April during a trip to Cabo. The two have only been dating since the fall ... hopefully they didn't rush into things!

When asked how things were going, Cavallari replied with a curt, "Fine." Then, she and Cutler had a tense conversation, and Cavallari walked away. See it all in our video.

It was the hat heard 'round the world, so to speak - Princess Beatrice's hat (right) at the royal wedding turned heads and made headlines, and now it's up for sale.

Beatrice, 22, cousin of Prince William, got the hat from famed London milliner Philip Treacy. He is a favorite of Kate Middleton's and made hats for dozens of the guests.

Now Beatrice plans to put the cap on eBay and auction it for UNICEF and "for children in crisis," said her mother, Duchess Sarah Ferguson, on Oprah Wednesday.

Treacy's hats can cost thousands of dollars ... we wonder how much Beatrice's topper will fetch. We can't imagine an occasion for anyone to wear it ...

Paula Abdul is officially part of the X Factor's judging panel, however the "Straight Up" singer is currently in a dispute with her agents at United Talent Agency over unpaid commissions, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sources tell the THR that Abdul is refusing to pay the standard 10 percent commission to her agents for the X Factor deal ... which closed on May 7. Abdul is said to believe the gig resulted from her close relationship with show creator Simon Cowell.

As for her deal for CBS' Live To Dance, Paula reportedly payed her commissions for that gig.

The teaser for Beyonce's "Run the World (Girls)" video has hit the web, and in it Beyonce doesn't hold anything back. The highly anticipated video has been much buzzed about, especially since Beyonce reportedly did much of the choreography herself, which confirms that this vid is all about girl power.

The only thing we will say is that Beyonce seems to have taken a page out of fellow pop star Lady Gaga's "Judas" video. Beyonce can be seen standing in a haute couture outfit with fire behind her ... pretty similar to that scene with the water toward the end of "Judas." Maybe the divas chatted about their videos on their telephones.
