Following Katy Perry's Firework and Lady Gaga's Born This Way, Taylor Swift has jumped on the anti-bullying bandwagon and recorded this video for her latest single Mean.

The single refers to kids picked on in school who grow up to be successful while the bullies are left behind.

Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and British TV personality Steve Jones have been confirmed as hosts of Simon Cowell's newest talent competition series, The X Factor. The pair join music producer L.A. Reid and British pop star Cheryl Cole ... and of course, Cowell himself, on the judges' panel.

Meanwhile, a fourth seat remains empty but various reports say Cowell's holding it for his former American Idol pal Paula Abdul.

The first round of taping begins tomorrow in Los Angeles, so the agents and managers and lawyers better get Paula's deal done fast!

UPDATE: Deadline is reporting Paula Abdul sealed the deal late Saturday night. The taping of the first show begins today at 1 pm PT so Simon just barely pulled together his crew in time!

Nick Cannon left the hospital Friday after a visit with Mariah and the babies -- twins Moroccan and Monroe -- and X17 has EXCLUSIVE information about the birth and the twins' health.

A source tells X17online Mariah and Nick's twins were two weeks early and needed time in an incubator after the birth by Caesarean section. Moroccan and Monroe have just been taken out of the preemie unit and are now able to stay in a regular crib, in their month's private room.

Mariah, 42, is in the VIP room of a Santa Monica hospital and Nick has been at her side much of the time since the births a week ago.

Our source tells us:

"Nick is always doting on Mariah and bringing things into the room for her. He always looks happy no matter what the hour, no matter how little sleep he's gotten. This guy is definitely happy to be a dad."

The baby boy and girl are still hooked up to oxygen through nasal tubes but are doing well. We're told:

"Mariah and Nick's babies aren't experiencing anything abnormal -- most twins are premature. The couple is relaxed and they don't seem worried. Mariah must be resting and taking care of herself after the C-section. She hasn't been out of her room yet."

The family is expected to be in the hospital through the coming week.

Whoa! Halle's not gonna be happy when she sees this!

Olivier Martinez had dinner and drinks with French actress Elsa Zylberstein Friday at Chateau Marmont while girlfriend Halle Berry was out at the park playing with Nahla.

Our photographer tells us:

"At first, the dinner seemed like two friends just meeting up. But then, after a pretty long time together in the garden cafe and once it started to get dark, they seemed to be more romantic. By the time they said goodbye, they really seemed to be more than friends. She was obviously into Olivier and he started to be kind of flirty with her."

Yikes! Looks like quite a passionate goodbye for two friends!

Eva Longoria got ALLLLL did up for a book signing of her new cookbook Eva's Kitchen at Williams-Sonoma in Beverly Hills. And the somewhat over-the-top dress and Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels made us think a nice blouse and jeans might have been more appropriate ... with maybe an apron on top?

I mean Gwyneth looks great when she cooks, but she never goes this far!

And not only did Eva get dressed to the nines for her PR engagement, she also skipped over ALL her fans waiting in front of the store hoping for photos and autographs! There were velvet ropes and fans waiting, cameras in hand, at the front door to Williams-Sonoma but Eva went in the back door!!! I guess Ms. Longoria doesn't wanna give it away ... she wants fans to buy her book!
