The deadline for Emmy nomination submissions has passed ... and Charlie Sheen's name wasn't submitted in time, according to TVLine's Michael Ausiello.

April 29th was the deadline, and Sheen's work in Two and a Half Men will not be recognized this year. Some are pointing the finger at Sheen's "people" for dropping the ball .. especially since he has changed publicists. Others are saying Warner Bros TV never had any intentions of submitting Sheen for an award.

Kelly Preston, 48, has just signed on to play Victoria Gotti, the wife of John Gotti, in the upcoming flick Gotti: Three Generations.

Of course, her real-life hubby, John Travolta, 57, is playing John Gotti.

And, the couple's real-life daughter, Ella Bleu, age 11, will play their on-screen daughter, Angel Gotti!

It's really becoming a family affair! That's a lot of Johns, a lot of marriages and a lot of potential for confusion; hope things don't get too crazy on set.

We kid. We're sure the Travoltas don't have the family drama that the Gottis do.

Lindsay Lohan will also star in the film, as Kim Gotti, the wife of John Gotti Jr.

The Pussycat Dolls lead singer has teamed up with 50 Cent for the single "Right There." Sounds like Nic has another hit on her hands.

In the catchy track, 50 Cent raps the following: “I like it when you’re freaky, I’m freaky / I’ll explore your body completely!” Loves it!

Perhaps if she officially lands the X Factor judging spot, she'll perform this new track live on the show.

After months of duking it out in court, Oksana Grigorieva has dropped the domestic violence charges against her ex-lover Mel Gibson, according to TMZ.

In court this morning, Grigorieva's attorney, Dan Horowitz, told the judge and Gibson's attorney that she was dropping the charges. The site claims that both the judge and Gibson's attorney were "shocked" at Oksana's decision. A source adds this was an "olive branch to Gibson."

As for Gibson's movie career, his upcoming flick The Beaver hits theaters on May 20.

Jennifer Love Hewitt was beaming as she stopped at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Studio City today just after she announced her breakup with boyfriend Alex Beh.

Jen's not letting the split get her down, though -- she tells us, in our exclusive video, "I'm good. Thanks!"

The actress had been dating Beh for just under a year. But J Love seems to be handing the split quite well; in fact -- our photographer who covers Hewitt regularly, tells us: "Jennifer seems unusually happy. The past two weeks she's been in a really bad mood. I guess the breakup is what she needed."

Katherine Jackson, 81, spoke with Matt Lauer on The Today Show this morning, where she said that her son, pop star Michael, was not a child molester.

"That’s the biggest lie ever been told.”

Lauer brought up that Jackson had settled with accusers out of court, and Katherine had an explanation; she blames her son's lawyers at the time.

"They thought that just paying the money and shutting the people up would be the right thing to do. As soon as I heard [he'd settled,] I called him and said, 'Why did you do that? It makes you look guilty.' He said, 'I didn't want to do it either, mother, I wanted to fight it because I knew it wasn't the truth.'"

Michael's momma said that one of the accusers rescinded his story after the icon's death.

“He confessed that Michael never touched him, and it was a big lie, and his father just wanted to be rich. And he said, ‘I’m so sorry I didn’t get to tell [Michael] this before he died.’”

Jonathan Rhys Meyers, star of The Tudors, has checked into rehab to seek treatment for alcohol addiction, according to The Daily Mirror.

The site says the 33-year-old actor spent over a week at a London clinic just last month. A source adds Meyers was "guzzling" several vodka cocktails at the JFK Airport in New York last week.

When he was trying to board his plane to LA, the United Airlines staff reportedly wouldn't allow him on the flight because he was allegedly intoxicated. The Mirror claims this resulted in Meyers launching into a verbal tirade.

Jesse James is opening up about his current relationship with ex Sandra Bullock, and his words are pretty harsh.

James sat down for an interview with ABC's Nightline as part of publicity for his new memoir, American Outlaw, out Thursday.

He talks about why he cheated on Sandra.

"I think I wanted to get caught."

James also discusses his current relationship with Bullock. James moved from Southern California to Austin, Texas, after the scandal to be near Bullock and keep their family together.

Bullock was close to James' children (all from other relationships), and the two had planned to adopt baby Louis together. Bullock instead adopted Louis as a single parent, but said in interviews that she thought James was a good father and wanted him to have a relationship with Louis.

James, however, says those wishes haven't come true.

"I've never seen Louis since everything happened."

He also says Bullock has not visited his other children.

"Pretty much no contact at all for several months."

And James says all this means he's done with the past, including Sandra. After his affairs came to light, James checked into a rehab facility and reportedly tried to win her back.

Now, his tune has changed. He's engaged to reality TV personality Kat Von D, and says the two will wed this summer. His divorce from Sandra was finalized last June; he and Von D became engaged in January. It will be James' fourth marriage.

When asked him if he worried about hurting Bullock's feelings by moving on so quickly, he responded:

"I can't worry about her anymore. I think I've spent a good chunk of the last five or six years worrying about her and what she thinks and what I should do and, you know, controlling all my movements and everything else. I think it's time to worry about Jesse and making sure Jesse's happy."
