Smart is engaged to HGTV’s Carter Oosterhouse, who also appeared as a carpenter on Trading Spaces. They pair meet at a green charity event in November of 2010, and have been dating just over five months.

Larter has been with hubby Hayes MacArthur (of Perfect Couples) for nearly ten years, so she may have been offering her pal a bit of relationship advice!
