After months of speculation, in which Cheryl Cole, a judge on the British X Factor was featured prominently, it seems the former Girls Aloud singer one step closer to being named the third judge on Simon Cowell's US version.

Sources tell Variety that contracts are being drawn up for Cole to join Cowell and LA Reid on the singing competition show when it premieres this fall.

Fox and Fremantle had no comment on this latest report ... but they didn't deny it either!

That would still leave one seat open -- perhaps for Jessica Simpson?

Simpson recently revealed that she had been approached by producers to join the judge's table. Read what she had to say about it ... after the jump!

The Heiress took her baby pink Bentley, one of many luxury cars in her fab collection, out for a spin in Beverly Hills on Monday after getting her hair done at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel salon. Whatever she paid, it was worth every penny -- girl looks like a supermodel!

During last night's Dancing With the Stars live performance show, professional dancer Cheryl Burke injured herself while performing the paso doble.

Burke, 26, recalls the injury telling People:

"I felt something rip. There was a move where I get down quickly. It bothered me [in rehearsals], but not like this. Now that the adrenaline of the live show is wearing off I'm feeling the pain a bit more."

Despite the injury, Burke and partner Chris Jericho earned a score of 23 points.

Burke adds, "I'm getting old." Hmm ... at 26? The two will find out tonight if they're going home. We'll be watching!

Ashley Tisdale is baring it all, including her back tattoo and a bit of her bum for a new photo shoot.

"I'm not just the young girl everybody thinks I am," Tisdale says in the new Allure magazine. "I'm actually a woman."

But just because Ashley is posing nude to try to change her image, that doesn't mean she's becoming a wild-child. The Hellcats star actually brought her mom to the naked shoot.

"I've always wanted to be sure my parents approve of what I do," she explains. "Even with my tattoos, my mom went with me. The 'believe' tattoo is because my mom always told me to believe."

Congrats to David Arquette; he's 100 days sober!

We caught up with Arquette in Hollywood, and he was in a good mood despite the fact his estranged wife Courtney Cox was recently vacationing in St. Barth with her Cougar Town costar, Josh Hopkins.

The Scream 4 star told Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Monday morning of Cox: "We're best friends. We're not together. We're still separated."

Kirstie Alley waltzed right out of her high heels tonight on Dancing With The Stars, and when spotted the actress before the show, it seemed as if she was loosing her robe as well!

The judges didn't seem to mind the little misstep, and no points were docked from her final score. Carrie Ann Inaba said of the actress' waltz with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy: "Oddly, when the shoe fell off and you put it back on, you had so much more joy than you did with both shoes on."

Alley scored 22 points for the night.
