Simon Cowell was spotted leaving Cipriani in London last night, and the music mogul was in good spirits as he headed back to his car. It's not clear whether the X Factor creator will appear in Los Angeles today for auditions, but one thing's for sure -- we'll be watching the US version of the show when it premieres this September!

Nearly 18,000 people showed up to the LA Sports Arena today to try out for the show, and judging by that turnout, it seems like this reality competition could be even bigger than American Idol! Additional auditions will take place in Chicago, Miami, Seattle, Dallas and Newark, so if you missed your shot this weekend, you'll get another chance!

Uma Thurman and her children Maya and Levon were spotted taking in the sights of Paris over the weekend, and after visiting some tourist hotspots, the Uma treated her son and daughter to ice cream and lollipops. So that's the trick to keeping your kids happy when touring museum after museum...

Yesterday Kirsten Dunst hit the gym in Studio City, and while the purse and peacoat look nice, they don't exactly go with her spandex and sneakers!

The actress recently revealed that she wants a piece of the fashion industry, telling WWD, “I wouldn’t want my own entire fashion line, but I’d do a collaboration, a one-off. I wouldn’t say no, it sounds like fun.” Maybe she should focus a bit more on her own style though? The 28-year-old actress will appear alongside Garrett Hedlund and Kristen Stewart in On The Road, so if you've been missing her on the big screen, you'll get to see her lovely face when the film opens later this year.

Olivia Newton-John's daughter Chloe Lattanzi stepped out with fiance James Driskill last night, and we have to say, we've never seen the 25-year-old starlet looking better!

The duo got engaged last October after a few months of dating, and they recently revealed that they've set their wedding date for October 15, 2011. Ten News interviewed Lattanzi about her upcoming nuptials, and she said, "It's amazing. I think I loved him from the first moment that I met him. Not to sound cheesy, but it's true. I'm glad that everybody gets to see him. I'm very proud."

Though Natalie Portman’s Black Swan choreographer and fiance Benjamin Millepied recently revealed that "85 percent of [the] movie is Natalie [dancing]," the Oscar winner's body double Sarah Lane says that's not the case.

Millepied told the LA Times last week, “There are articles now talking about her dance double that are making it sound like [Lane] did a lot of the work, but really, she just did the footwork, and the fouettés, and one diagonal [phrase] in the studio. Honestly, 85 percent of that movie is Natalie."

The American Ballet Theatre dancer tells Entertainment Weekly that she has been the victim of a “cover-up” to mislead audiences about how much dancing Portman actually did in the film. “Of the full body shots, I would say 5 percent are Natalie,” Lane told EW. “All the other shots are me. The shots that are just her face with arms, those shots are definitely Natalie. But that doesn’t show the actual dancing.”

Lane admits that she was never promised a specific title for her work on the film, and while she was aware that Portman’s face would be digitally grafted onto her body, she's upset over the misunderstanding. “They wanted to create this idea in people’s minds that Natalie was some kind of prodigy or so gifted in dance and really worked so hard to make herself a ballerina in a year and a half for the movie, basically because of the Oscar,” says Lane. “It is demeaning to the profession and not just to me. I’ve been doing this for 22 years ... Can you become a concert pianist in a year and a half, even if you’re a movie star?”

Nick Lachey ran errands in Beverly Hills yesterday, and the singer slash sometime actor (anyone catch his guest role on Hawaii Five-0?) was in a great mood when we snapped his picture.

Nick's fiancee Vanessa Minnillo recently revealed that she's in charge of planning their upcoming wedding, but the two are in no rush to have children. When asked about starting a family on The Rachael Ray Show, Minnillo said, "Let's do it one chapter at a time, why rush? We have the rest of our lives. If you have children, once they're there, they're there. You can't say, 'I don't think I want to deal with you today.' No, they're there!" Good point!

On Friday night Fergie celebrated her 36th birthday at The Bank Nightclub at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, and the singer looked incredible as she partied the night away. Fergie and hunky husband Josh Duhamel had dinner at Yellowtail, and after slipping back to her suite and changing into this sexy Herve Leger dress, the duo headed to The Bank with her entourage. After walking the red carpet, Fergie got on the mic and performed a few songs including "Imma Bee" and "Sweet Child Of Mine", and after that she was presented with a fancy unicorn cake. Sounds like a magical evening! Fergie's real birthday is today, but she didn't seem to mind celebrating a few days early...

Mariah Carey is resting at home after a trip to the hospital early Sunday morning. The singer tweeted a few hours ago, "really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary! I started having contractions last night..went 2 the hospital."

Carey, who turns 42 today, added, "They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: )"

So how has hubby Nick Cannon been handling the whole ordeal? Last week he joked on Twitter, "I am probably going to faint in the delivery room! I need to man up! Or maybe I should say WOMAN UP since they are the ones that have to be the strongest in the whole ordeal! I am in awe of my wife!"
