Ben Affleck opted to indulge in a yummy sushi dinner at Katsuya last night with a bald companion as opposed to his follically blessed wife Jennifer Garner!

Ben, who has been away from home shooting the Untitled Terrence Malick Project with Rachel McAdams looked as if the recent traveling has been wearing on him.

It was recently revealed that Affleck's superhero movie, Daredevil (where he first met wife Jen Garner) was getting a re-boot ... And Ben is being replaced in the title role.

Despite reportedly not getting an invite to ex-wife Reese Witherspoon's wedding to Jim Toth this weekend, Ryan Phillippe was all smiles last night at Craig's in West Hollywood.

Reese and Ryan were married for eight years and have two children together, Ava, 11 and Deacon, 8. They divorced in 2007 and seem to have developed an amicable relationship with each other over the years, sharing custody of their children.

Although Ryan reportedly played the field quite a bit after his breakup, he's been dating Amanda Seyfried for months now. Unlike previous girlfriend, Abbie Cornish, we haven't seen Seyfried, who's 11 years younger than Phillippe (and only 14 years older than Ava!), with the kids since they started seeing each other.

Could the reason Reese snubbed Ryan at her wedding be because she didn't want him to bring his much-younger girlfriend to the celebration?

Madonna has been forced to cancel her plans for a school for girls in Malawi after she reportedly was unable to raise most of the $15 million she needed for the project.

Madonna had already spent $3.8 million on the project, which was supposed to erect a school for impoverished girls in the country from where she adopted two of her children, David, 6, and Mercy, also 6.

“A thoughtful decision has been made to discontinue plans for the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls, as it was originally conceived,” Michael Berg the co-director of the Kabbalah Centre and the co-founder of Raising Malawi, said Thursday in an e-mail to contributing members of the project, reports the NY Times.

The school had been plagued with financial problems after it was determined that the foundation had already spent $3.8 million on architects, design, salaries and cars for two employees who had not even been hired yet.

Madonna issued a statement Thursday saying “There’s a real education crisis in Malawi. Sixty-seven percent of girls don’t go to secondary school, and this is simply unacceptable. Our team is going to work hard to address this in every way we can.”

Reese Witherspoon and fiance Jim Toth are set to tie the knot tomorrow, and preparations are well underway for the big event taking place at Reese's estate in Ojai, California.

Massive white tents are now being erected in the backyard for the intimate affair.

The 35-year-old actress will wear a white Monique Lhullier dress and will incorporate kids Ava and Deacon into the ceremony.

Just yesterday, X17 photographers caught the bride-to-be shopping in Beverly Hills in her bare feet. She's so down to earth!

Jim Carrey is going back to his comedic roots in the upcoming film Mr. Popper's Penguins based on the Newbery-winning children's book.

In the film, Carrey spends most of his screen time opposite the adorable black and white birds ... some of which are CGI. Mr. Popper's Penguins is about a businessman whose "professional side starts to unravel after he inherits six penguins."

Courteney revealed in a recent interview that she would "have huge waves of pain" if their marriage were to fail, while David told Oprah in February that "I know that I will be with her for my whole life." Whether Coco's parents "officially" get back together or not, time will tell, but it definitely seems as if they're heading in that direction!

Iglesias lit up the stage while on his Euphoria Tour at UK's Manchester Evening News Arena. We're loving all of his crazy faces.

The hunky performer released his ninth album Euphoria last July, and the hits just keep on coming. His latest single "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)" featuring Latin rapper Pitbull was released in December 2010, but the track is still climbing the charts.
