Jessica Alba is known for her classy, simple choices when it comes to fashion, but yesterday we caught the pregnant actress taking a major misstep in Santa Monica.

Jess rocked a pair of colorful Prada platforms with an otherwise dark and winter-y outfit, but her biggest mistake was wearing socks under the peep toe sandals! At first glance we thought her feet were peeking out, but after looking at a few more shots, the Machete starlet is clearly wearing a pair of light-colored socks. Maybe she thought her jeans would cover up her toasty warm toes?

Elizabeth Taylor's private funeral service will be held this afternoon at the Forest Lawn cemetery in Glendale, California.

Taylor's death certificate lists Mt. Sinai as the mortuary and Forest Lawn as her final resting place, which is also where her close pal Michael Jackson is buried.

The silver screen legend passed away yesterday morning at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles with her four children by her side. Taylor was admitted to the hospital last month after suffering congestive heart failure symptoms.

Miley Cyrus was almost the victim of a burglary early this morning. LAPD's North Hollywood Division tells us 26-year-old Musa Danasabe Ibrahim was arrested at 4:15am in the yard of Miley's neighbor. The initial call came in as a Citizen's Arrest.

The LAPD tell X17online exclusively:

"Ibrahim was trying to make entry into Miley Cyrus' house, but he got the houses mixed up. When we arrived on scene, we found him in her neighbor's yard. He was arrested for trespassing."

According to the police report, Ibrahim is described as an African American male with black hair, brown eyes, 5' 10 and 160lbs.

An eyewitness tells us the man was claiming "he had a date with Miley." Neighbors describe Ibrahim, who jumped the fence into the yard, as a "freaky guy."

We're told Ibrahim is still in custody. His bail has been set for $5,000.

Russell Brand and Katy Perry landed at LAX last night, and though the two have spent a bit of time apart due to Katy's busy tour schedule, Russell reunited with his wifey in London earlier this week. Now that they're back together in the states, it looks like Katy will be on his arm as he promotes the remake of Arthur, which hits theaters on April 8. Maybe she won't be as shy when they pose together on the red carpet?

Britney Spears recently chatted with Us Weekly about her new album Femme Fatale, and as surprise for her fans, the pop princess shared some fun facts with the mag.

Well, we figured her closet was overflowing with purses and clothes, but who knew she was such a chocoholic?

Britney says:

1. My favorite ice cream is orange sherbet.

2. I take two baths a day.

3. I love chewing ice.

4. I make a mean fake dinosaur when playing with the two loves of my life, Sean, 5, and Jayden, 4.

Natalie Portman's fiance, Benjamin Millepied, is taking center stage ... talking about his relationship with the Oscar winner and defending her dancing abilities in Black Swan.

Millepied, who met Portman on set while choreographing the movie, tells the Los Angeles Times:

"It was so believable, it was fantastic, that beautiful movement quality. There are articles now talking about her dance double that are making it sound like [Sarah Lane, her body double] did a lot of the work, but really, she just did the footwork, and the fouettes, and one diagonal [phrase] in the studio. Honestly, 85% of that movie is Natalie."

Millepied goes on to say accusations criticizing Natalie's integrity as a dancer are baseless. The soon-to-be daddy adds:

"[I made] things fluid and not too complicated ... Natalie took class, she studied for several months, from the waist up is her. Sarah Lane, a soloist at ABT, did the heavy tricks, she did the fouettes, but they only had her for a limited time ... She [Portman] definitely put her work in. Just in a couple of months, she looked credible -- all the dancers on the set were really impressed at how well she pulled that off -- it was pretty amazing."
