After throwing a chair through a window and storming out of Good Morning America's New York City studio without a shirt, R&B star Chris Brown is apologizing for his behavior.

Brown made an appearance on the BET video show 106 & Park and chatted about the incident, telling the program:

"First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, or anybody who was offended or really looked, and [was] disappointed at my actions. Because I'm disappointed in the way I acted ... I felt like they told us this just so they could get us on the show to exploit me. That’s what I thought. So I kind took it very, very hard. And I kept my composure throughout the interview, although you could see me upset, you know. I kept my composure and did my performances, and when I got back, I just let off, like, steam in the back … I just had to release the anger that I had inside me because I felt like I worked so hard for this music."

Brown freaked out immediately after GMA host Robin Roberts asked him a question about his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna, but Roberts made it clear that Brown knew ahead of time what the interview questions would be. Though Roberts said she was "shocked like everybody else" about Brown's reaction, she seemed to forgive the singer before he even issued an apology. Roberts even invited Brown back on the show, adding, "We wish him the absolute best and ... we've extended the invitation to him and I sure hope that he takes us up on it, because we'd love to have another chat with him."

Britney Spears braved the rain with her umbrella-toting bodyguards to take sons Jayden James and Sean Preston to a birthday party at Gymboree. Little Sean even had his invite in tow while Jayden brought his toy dinosaur.



The rain has really put a damper on Brit's plans this week. San Francisco officials just announced Spears GMA performance, which was set to take place at noon Sunday in front of the Castro Theatre, has been canceled due to the bad weather.

Instead, Spears will perform the free concert at noon on Sunday, at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in the city by the Bay, as part of her publicity tour for her new album, Femme Fatale, which debuts Tuesday.

The performance will air in a Good Morning America segment set on Tuesday.

We caught up with the lovely Heigl while lunching in Los Feliz with a male friend.

The hot momma has been hard at work shooting New year's Eve after she took Halle Berry's place when custody issues forced her to give up the role. Luckily Berry was able to work out her issues with her ex, and she was given another part in the film.

Now that Lindsay Lohan has decided to not take the plea deal in her felony grand theft case, her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, is speaking out on her client's case going to trial.

Holley tells X17online exclusively:

"Ms. Lohan has maintained her innocence from the moment this case was filed and she has never wavered. Though many advised her to follow the safe route by taking "the deal", the truth is, Ms. Lohan is innocent; she has a strong defense; and we are confident that a jury will listen to the evidence fairly and acquit her."

Reese Witherspoon was snapped at the Brentwood Country Mart this afternoon, and the Oscar winner picked up what appeared to be a belated birthday gift! Or perhaps an early wedding present? She's undoubtedly over the moon about tying the knot in Ojai this weekend, and even the rainy weather couldn't bring her good mood down!

Last night Reese celebrated her 35th birthday at Tavern restaurant with fiance Jim Toth, her children and several other close friends, and though Jim snapped at photographers, it looks like Reese and company were still able to have a good time -- it certainly wasn't on her mind today!

Hilary Duff paid a visit to the Edward Jenner Elementary Academy of the Arts in Chicago this morning, and the starlet was there to volunteer her time for Blessings in a Backpack. Duff has been traveling across the United States all week to help raise awareness for the organization, which provides food for low-income students in the United States, Canada, Colombia and Haiti.

The singer/actress also showed off her new hairdo, which she tweeted pictures of this past weekend. Loves it x 2!

Last night Paris Hilton dined at BOA in West Hollywood with her beau Cy Waits, and the heiress wore a flirty and fun top for her dinner date. It may have been a bit chilly last night, but at least Miss P looked like a knockout!

Paris' new reality show is set to premiere on Oxygen this spring, and we'll also be seeing the blonde babe in an upcoming episode of The Hard Times of RJ Berger! Paris stars opposite Jareb Dauplaise for her guest appearance, and the 32-year-old star tells MTV News, "[Paris] comes on the show, and I was lucky enough to have the scene with her ... She's beautiful, and my mom's a big fan of Paris Hilton. Actually, my mom got to meet Paris, and they got along great!"

These sisters weren't so shy when they stepped out at the Lakers game last night -- wonder why they felt the need to cover up their pretty faces when we spotted them leaving the gym today?
