Looks like David Letterman's Late Show staff was fooled when booking Lindsay Lohan to deliver the Top Ten list.

Worldwide Pants' Tom Keaney just released the following statement:

“Lindsay Lohan will not be delivering a Top Ten list on Thursday’s LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, as had been previously announced. We made a mistake. Someone purporting to be a friend of Lindsay's reached out to the show yesterday, allegedly on her behalf, and booked her to appear. Clearly, this person was not authorized to make commitments on her behalf. We wish Lindsay well, and look forward to having her on the show in the future."

Letterman's producers had tweeted on Tuesday that the 24-year-old starlet would be on the show. Ouch!

Update: The Late Show with David Letteman released a statement on Lindsay's appearance mix-up, saying: "Clearly, this person was not authorized to make commitments on her behalf. We wish Lindsay well, and look forward to having her on the show in the future."

Paris Hilton is kicking off her birthday week in style -- after a Valentine's Day dinner with her sweetie Cy Waits on Monday, the heiress celebrated at a costume party in the Hollywood Hills last night. Paris tweeted, "Such an amazing birthday celebration! Moulin Rouge themed fun! ... So amazing when Lil Wayne stopped by to give me a birthday present. Everyone at the party loved seeing him!"

P's actual 30th birthday isn't until tomorrow, so we can't wait to see what she does (and wears) then. And we suppose she'll be out celebrating tonight as well ... as she should be!

Justin Bieber may be only sixteen, but the teen sensation is growing up fast ... talking about politics, puberty and sex in Rolling Stone's March issue. Look at that adorably cute mug trying to look hard. The spikes on the shoulder definitely complete the hardcore look.

Biebs, who has been dating 18-year-old actress and singer Selena Gomez, is opening up about his love life. He tells the mag:

"I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them. I think you should just wait for the person you're...in love with."

When asked about his political views, the singer adds:

"I'm not sure about the parties. But whatever they have in Korea, that's bad. I really don't believe in abortion. It's like killing a baby?"

Gotta love that this 16-year-old kid is already cruising around Atlanta in a Range Rover and taking on the tough questions. You go, boy!

Another Kardashian sister is off the market now that Scott Disick has put a ring on it!

On the season finale of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Mason's daddy proposes to 31-year-old reality star Kourtney Kardashian ... and she says "yes," according to Life and Style.

An insider tells the mag:

“The season finale, which has already been filmed, ends with Scott proposing and Kourtney accepting. It’s been really hard for them to keep it quiet. She’s so excited for the finale to air this April so she can finally go out in public with her ring on. She wears it at home all the time.”

This past December, we caught Kourtney running into a Calabasas jewelry store with Scott waiting in the car. Maybe a final fitting for that engagement ring?

Ex-couple Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus got together at an LA area pet cemetery for some mourning time, and despite the circumstances of their outing, we're happy to see they're still on good enough terms to hang out together. But Billy, what's with the leather gloves?

The country star recently opened up to GQ, telling the mag he wished Hannah Montana had never happened to his family. Considering it elevated the Cyrus' to super stardom and made daughter Miley one of the youngest billionaires on the planet, we're a bit shocked to hear the claim. Cyrus expressed:

"Hannah Montana destroyed my family ... I'd take it back in a second. For my family to be here and just be OK, safe and sound and happy and normal, would have been fantastic."

Hmmm. We wonder what Disney has to say about this. But we don't blame papa Ray for saying what he has. Miley is no longer the innocent Disney princess she was in her Montana days. The bong video, controversial photos, pics of her underage drinking, and pole dancing at an awards show, are all things Cyrus would probably rather not see his daughter go though ... at least not in the public eye.

We wish the best for the Cyrus family as they go through this difficult time, but seeing the pair together again gives us hope things might be looking up for the ex-couple. After seventeen years together, could reconciliation be possible?

Unknown star Liam Neeson stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote his upcoming film, and revealed some exciting info for all you Hangover fans who may be skeptical about the sequel.

Neeson, who famously replaced Mel Gibson in the role of a tattoo artist, tells Ellen:

Ellen: Is this true - Are you in Hangover 2? Is that right?
Liam: I'm in Hangover 2 if they keep the scene in, yeah.
Ellen: I pray it's as good as the first one because that movie was so good.
Liam: Well, the guys are telling me - Bradley Cooper is a buddy of mine and says, "It's actually better than the first." So we shall see.
Ellen: Bradley Cooper is your friend?
Liam: Bradley is a buddy. Yeah, we were in The A-Team together.
Ellen: That's right. He's a great guy.
Liam: Yeah, he's terrific.
Ellen: And a decent poker player.
Liam: And he's not too shabby on the eyes either.
Ellen: He's easy to look at.

We agree, Bradley Cooper is dreamy, and we're glad to hear Neeson is keeping busy with work, considering his wife, actress Natasha Richardson, died in a freak skiing accident almost two years ago. The Battleship star recently told Esquire Magazine on loosing Natasha:

"It's easy enough to plan jobs, to plan a lot of work. That's effective. But that's the weird thing about grief. You can't prepare for it. You think you're gonna cry and get it over with. You make those plans, but they never work. It hits you in the middle of the night -- well, it hits me in the middle of the night. I'm out walking. I'm feeling quite content. And it's like suddenly, boom. It's like you've just done that in your chest."

Loosing a loved one is never easy, we're just glad it hasn't stopped the Academy Award winner from doing what he loves.

We've never seen that one before!

Hilary Duff showed off her newest tattoo while out and about in LA, and we have to admit, it keeps us guessing. The phrase "Thick As Thieves" is scrawled on her left hand so it could be a private phase she shares with new hubby Mike Comrie (she wears her wedding band on her left hand after all) or a joint tattoo with her sister ... or mom!

Duff currently has two other tattoos ... that we know of. The ex-Disney star took her mom along for her first tattoo, which says “Let it be” in simple English on the outside of her right ankle. The Material Girls star once told In Touch of her ink-y text:

"I have a hectic, crazy life. Things are so crazy around me and I get stressed out. It’s like, I’m just one person so, let it be."

Mrs. Comrie's second tattoo, “ma petite amie”, is a French saying with two meanings: one being ‘my little friend’, and the other, ‘my girlfriend’. The ink is located on her right side just under the singer's chest, and is reportedly for her sister, Haylie Duff.

Looks like Lindsay Lohan is slowly making her way back into the limelight...

CBS announced this afternoon that the 24-year-old troubled starlet would be announcing the Top Ten List on the Late Show with David Letterman Thursday night.

Lohan will appear via satellite from Los Angeles.

This comes as somewhat of a surprise as Letterman's been poking fun at Lindsay lately. On February 9th, he had a whole list devoted to her, entitled "Top Ten Signs Lindsay Lohan Is Out of Control."

Letterman also mentioned her in his Top Ten List, "Surprises at the 2011 Grammy Awards," with the following line: "Lindsay Lohan seen leaving the Staples Center with a Grammy-shaped bulge."

Also interesting to note? The guest on Letterman's Thursday show will be Paris Hilton.
