From leading man to talk show host...

Josh Duhamel is reportedly in the running to place Regis Philbin on Live! With Regis and Kelly when Philbin departs the morning talk show, according to Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier.

"Wow! Do they have Vegas odds on that?" responded Fergie when Frazier brought it up to her during Super Bowl preps this week. But the singer kept coy and only said, "You're going to have to ask him that question."

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for ABC Disney reveals, "This one is simply not true." And Duhamel's rep adds, "There is no truth to the story."

Josh Duhamel is allegedly a favorite guest of Kelly Ripa. But if not him, who?

The Social Network is racking up a ton of honors this awards season, and last night Aaron Sorkin's Facebook flick won Best Adapted Screenplay at the WGA Awards.

And what other film did the Writers Guild recognize? Inception, which took home the award for Best Original Screenplay. Congrats to both movies!

As for TV, Modern Family was awarded best writing for a comedy series and Mad Men for best writing in a drama series.

The star of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps is always getting into trouble! First the actor was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing after refusing to leave a Walgreens store in 2007, and then was arrested in Hollywood on suspicion of drunk driving in 2008.

Now Shia LaBeouf was briefly handcuffed by police in the early hours of Saturday morning this weekend after an apparent bar fight at Mad Bull's Tavern in Sherman Oaks.

According to various reports, LaBeouf was being heckled by a fellow bar patron and was later punched in the mouth when the argument was moved outside. Local LAPD officers showed up, handcuffed the actor, questioned him and then released him soon after.

It seems the patrons picking on the Transformers star fled the scene before the cops arrived.

No charges were filed.

Lindsay Lohan has been holed up in her Venice Beach home since Friday and on that day, she met with an attorney, and begged her for help with her latest legal troubles -- accusations she stole a $2500 necklace from a local jewelry store.

A source close to a pal of Lindsay's tells X17online:

"Lindsay's staying at home with friends, contemplating what might happen to her this week. She knows she could go to jail again and she's asking everyone she knows for help to get out of it. Lindsay knows it's not a matter of her being guilty or not -- she already feels like Judge Eldon doesn't like her and she's afraid he'll take any opportunity to put her back in jail."

In fact, Lindsay's pals have been visiting non-stop over the past 24 hours ... her old friend Patrick Aufdenkamp has been in and out, her assistant Eleanor has been at the house, and a few other friends have stopped by for visits. Her next-door neighbor Samantha Ronson has been by -- entering by the back door ...

On Friday, Lindsay's dad Michael arrived with his former attorney Lisa Bloom (daughter of famed lawyer Gloria Allred). Bloom told us at the time "something is fishy" about the allegations.

Lohan is on probation and is submitting to random drug testing for her ongoing DUI case. She's scheduled to be back in court for that on February 25 ... if she's not in court for the alleged theft before then.

An unconfirmed report claims the district attorney's office will file felony charges with the court tomorrow and that Lindsay could be back in court as early as Monday or Tuesday. If that happens, she could be arrested on the spot. Lindsay faces six months' jail time.

Although the heavily pregnant Natalie Portman has repeatedly said "I'm due this summer," a source tells X17online exclusively that Portman will actually deliver her first child this spring.

"Natalie's due this spring," the source says. "This is a really special time in her life and Natalie wanted to try to keep the attention off her as much as possible. She thought lying about her due date might give her some more privacy in the final months of her pregnancy."

The source goes on to say that Natalie is "at least seven months pregnant" and couldn't be more thrilled to welcome her first baby with fiance Benjamin Millepied this spring.
