Um, was there any doubt as to whether it would?

HBO has ordered a pilot of Aaron Sorkin's show about a nightly cable news program, and the Oscar-nominated scribe will be reunited with Social Network producer Scott Rudin for the project.

Sorkin spent time at MSNBC, Fox News and CNN researching the show, and though he shadowed Keith Olbermann, the host will not have any involvement in the series. We can't imagine the show won't get picked up for a full season, and we're very eager to check it out!

Hmm we're confused.

We've been following Snooki's Twitter since her big book release, and judging by what she's been sharing, you'd never know A Shore Thing was a total flop.

The book sold a mere 8,998 copies since it's January 4 release, according to BookScan, and that's not a very good sign for Snook's career as an author.

The Jersey Shore star Tweeted after her novel's release:

"I hear my books already sold out ! I'm comin tweedos ... OMG I'm a New York Times Best Selling Author!!! Thank you so much to my fans, family and everyone who made this possible! LOVE YOU ALL !!"

Don't lie to us Ms. Polizzi. There are 8.6 million fans out there who tune in to see your craziness on a weekly basis. None of us care if you write a book, just keep entertaining us on the Shore and we promise to keep watching!

A-lister Johnny Depp likes to relax every once in awhile, too!

Now that Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has wrapped production, the 47-year-old star hung out with friends in Hollywood ... enjoying the beautiful Southern California weather.

We have a feeling he'll be visiting new mom and Pirates' co-star Penelope Cruz to see her new baby.

Even with sunglasses and a beanie, Mr. Depp still gets our heart racing!

Not only is she one of our fav young actresses, but she's also got a heart of gold!

Red Riding Hood star Amanda Seyfried was heading back to her car after a workout yesterday, but she stopped in her tracks to help a small dog that had jumped out of a parked vehicle. Amanda picked the pup up, placed him back in the car and went on her way, but even if there weren't photogs present we KNOW the animal lover would have done the same thing. No wonder hunky Ryan Phillippe is smitten with her!

When it comes to asking the hard-hitting questions ... leave it to Piers Morgan to lay it all out there. Kim Kardashian probably didn't expect to be asked, "Honestly, what is your talent?" Loves it!

While the 30-year-old reality starlet stopped by CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight, the host asks Kim K the question, and she responds:

“I would absolutely say that marketing is a skill and I think that fashion [is] as well. Each sister have been stylists at some point in our lives. We own three successful clothing stores.”

Piers then asks, “So, when people call you talent-less, how do you react? Does it hurt you?" Kourtney says:

“It doesn’t hurt me. I think people that know us, that watch our show, see that we work, see that we’re hard workers. I usually find the comments come from people that don’t watch our show or know anything about us. They might just see us in magazines or see our pictures on blogs and think that we’re just spoiled kids that don’t do anything and we just run around Hollywood and go to parties.”

Of course, Mr. Morgan wasn't going to let Kim get away without touching on her sex tape with R&B singer Brandy's lil' brother Ray J Norwood. Kim adds:

“There’s this embarrassment and shame that comes along with [the release of the tape] and I think I was so lucky to find a boyfriend at that time in Reggie — we were together for four years — and that’s something that he really helped me through,” Kim said. “He picked me up when I couldn’t pick myself up….so I feel like I’ve dealt with it and now I move on from it and I don’t really go there."

Lea Michele is having a really good week!

Not only is her hotness featured on March's Cosmo, it was announced early Friday the Glee princess will lend her fabulous voice to the Super Bowl, singing America the Beautiful alongside Christina Aguilera (Aguilera's already booked to belt out the National Anthem). Two divas singing at the same time and place? Loves it!

The Glee star opened up to Cosmo about keeping her long distance relationship with NYC Broadway star Theo Stockman spicy.

She tells the mag:

“Take a shower, put on a robe, pour myself a glass of wine and Skype with Theo. That’s the best.”

Sexy!

We can't wait to see Ms. Michele's performance at the Super Bowl, and better yet, Glee's entire cast doing Thriller in a special episode following the big game!

Yesterday rapper Katt tweeted at Rihanna saying, "Watchin clifford the big red dog =) somehow im reminded of @Rihanna idk why tho", and the R&B superstar fired back and wrote, "LMAO, Katt u lil c***."

Rihanna certainly has that bad girl streak about her, but is this really that big of a deal? I mean, Shakespeare cleverly inserted the C-word in some of his plays back in the day, and we've all used it from time to time, right?

Kate Hudson is now speaking out about her pregnancy, and why it was so hard to keep the big news a secret.

The 31-year-old actress tells London's The Times:

"I'm pregnant, and I'm really sick. But I couldn't say that because you really want to keep it as quiet as you can for the first trimester.

My friends all thought I was depressed because I wouldn't leave the house. But I didn't want anyone to know for a long time. I was just hoping that all of a sudden I could show up somewhere with a big belly. But, of course, you're somewhere in L.A., and somebody says something, and it ends up somewhere. And here we are."

Hudson and her rocker beau Matt Bellamy are currently hanging out in Paris with Kate's parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. Some women crave food during their pregnancy, but it looks like Kate is craving a little shopping action!

Earlier this week, Kate revealed on England's The Graham Norton Show that she feels "it's a girl."

We bet her son Ryder, 7, can't wait to be a big brother!
