It's no secret Matthew McConaughey loves the beach -- he even shacked up with Camila in an Airstream parked above the water in Malibu while she was pregnant with their son Levi!

Well now the Texan actor has bought up some more respectable digs (to the tune of about $15 million for his top-o-the-bluff manse) and he and Camila and the kids (Levi, 2; and Vida, 1) are darn well gonna enjoy the salty air!

Despite various reports claiming Charlie Sheen was hospitalized for a drug overdose, his rep, Stan Rosenfield, says that's not the case. It was a hernia that forced Charlie to be taken to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.

Rosenfield, who says the Two and a Half Men actor is "stable," released the following statement:

"Charlie has had a hernia condition for some time. I was told by the person who made the 911 call that it was hernia-related."

The actor reportedly has been suffering from a hiatal hernia for quite some time. Just last October, Sheen was sent to the E.R. after the now infamous Plaza Hotel incident in New York ... when the actor reportedly acted like "an emotionally disturbed person." At the time, Rosenfield blamed the hospitalization on an "adverse allergic reaction" to medication.

Two and a Half Men is currently on hiatus but will resume production next week.

Update: - Charlie Sheen was released late last night from Cedars-Sinai. He's expected to be back at work next Tuesday.

Yesterday we caught Lauren Conrad running errands in Brentwood, and she's always incredibly well put together, but she made sure to accessorize with something we don't see all that often: her lovely smile!

This afternoon X17 photographers caught up with Charlie Sheen's estranged wife Brooke Mueller while she was grocery shopping in Los Angeles, and she didn't seem all that concerned about his trip to the emergency room this morning. "I'm not going to the hospital, Charlie's doing good," Brooke told X17online exclusively.

Sheen was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center around 7am on Thursday after complaining of severe abdominal pain, and it's been widely speculated that the actor was coming off a two day bender with alcohol, porn stars and cocaine.

Additionally, a source at Cedars-Sinai tells X17online exclusively that a reporter was arrested inside the hospital, and Sheen's second ex-wife Denise Richards was seen crying while she visited with Sheen and his parents. This is the second time in six months that Sheen has been taken to the hospital following an all night party session, so is it possible that this incident finally scared some sense into him? It certainly seems to have taken a toll on some of Sheen's family members...

Well, she probably doesn't NEED a pair, but when we caught up with the sexy starlet in Venice this afternoon, she was on the market for a new set of shades.

Lindsay wasn't super chatty with photogs, but she wasn't being a total diva either, so we can't really complain. Since she got our of rehab, Lilo has been on relatively good behavior, so we'd love for this to continue! We'd also love to see her back on TV or the big screen, but we're not holding our breath...

Yesterday we spotted Pete Wentz running errands in the valley, and not only did the rock star dad show off his naturally curly locks, but he was in such a good mood he flashed us the peace sign. But we're curious -- what's with Pete suddenly ditching his flat iron? New year's resolution?
